Hiya ladies,

Have been using this site for a week or two now, finding it really supportive and useful so heres another question from a very inexperienced ttc lady!! Would love any advice....

Am using the cleablue fertility monitor to ttc. Have done the deed on some of my 'high' days and on my 'peak' day (saturday) so am keeping my fingers crossed.

I have had really bad backache in the lower part of my back all day today, never have backache...its probably a long shot but I just wondered if it was linked?

Thanks!

Yes it can be as the early preg hormones move things around a bit - everything starts clanking IFSWIM as the hormones prepare your body for the future growth.

My fingers are crossed for you!

If it's not - my top tips for ttc are to relax as much as possible, have sex as much as possible (once a day) from when your period ends to when it starts, and to put a pillow under your bum with legs in the air after you've done the deed for 15/20mins. Worked for me x 3 (and bear in mind ds3 was concieved 9 days before I ovulated). Trust that when your baby is ready to come to you, he/she will come & til then relax .
