Clearblue monitor help!!!!

hi just wondered if anyone could help answer my little question...i have the clear blue test mointor and i have come to work today and have started my period and my monitor is at home!!!!!! Can i start using it tomorow and it still count the days etc and be accurate? probably obvious somewhere but all the instructions state is first day first urine in the morning....thanks xxx

Hi babytry5000 yes you can start using it tomorrow and although it'll be counting tomorrow as day 1 it doesn't really matter it'll just tell you when you're on peak or high fertility anyway

You have to start it first thing in the morning because you have to test at roughly the same time (within 3 hrs of ) every day

cool i shall do that then i guessed it will still show all the right right data but just didnt want to bother starting if i had thrown wole test out completely...wish me luck!

Hi babytry5000 What time did AF arrive? If it arrived after you left for work, then you set the monitor to day 1 tomorrow. No need to panic! This is correct in line with the instructions.

When you set it at day 1 you have a three hour window either side on which to test. Therefore, if you set it at 7am you can test with FMU between 4am and 10am each day.

If your period arrived early this morning and you forgot to set it to day 1 then you can hold the "m" button tomorrow morning, but keep holding it when it resets to 1. If you keep holding it it flicks over to day 2. Then let go.

hiya knackeredcow...it arrived with vengence when i had got up but didnt realise as it was extremely late for work and rushed out of the door like a lunatic! So ill set the thing to day 2...when you say 3 hour testing window do you mean when i start doing sample on day 6?? or i have to do one tomorow??

Yes, if it had started when you get up then hold the button down till it displays day 2 tomorrow morning. The time you press the M button is very important. I press mine at half past seven. Usually I get up a bit before this in the week but I like to give myself till half ten at the weekend. If you press the button at 8 you can test between 5 and 11 am which is probably good for most people unless you are a very early bird!
