Well me and dh decided to starting ttc for dc 2 in august. With dd (now 2) we got pg straight after coming off the pill, unfortunately had a mc then was pg again before next period arrived. This time I came off the pill and had raised prolactin for 3 months which stopped me ovulating. That fixed itself and I got pg. Then I miscarried over Xmas. I was ok about it given what happened last time. However 6 weeks and lots of negative pg tests later I have had no period. I'm not sure that I ovulated either as I usually feel it.

I know 7 months isn't that long to be ttc but it just feels like its one problem after another. Has anyone else had a disappearing period after mc? Im thinking about making an appointment with my GP if it hasn't arrived in the next week.

I have had 7 MCs in the last 4 years,at 5wks, 6wks, 10wks(ectopic), 6wks, 9wks, 7wks and the last was in october and at 19 weeks, (still heartbroken)
I can tell you from plenty of experience that it is very common for your body to take a while to recover, have had periods exactly 4wks after and also skipped one completely and been nearly 9 wks after, if you are definatley not pg again then im sure it will arrive soon, but by all means go see your gp in case you have contracted an infection (happened to me last time) or something else, they may be able to put your mind at rest, good luck for the next time x

So sorry to hear of your losses. I'm glad to know this is normal though. I've been having some cramping so hopefully that's a good sign. Spend most of the time hoping it will stay away and now I'm willing it to arrive.

Good luck to you
