I had my bloods re-done a few months ago, and she said that if there was anything abnormal they would have picked it up at my "12 week scan" last year. I do get ewcm every month and wouldn't if I didn't ov, so I think it is down to bad luck and insufficient sex!

Umb thats a myth about EWCM - I get it every month & tons at times but I don't ovulate every month. I have no idea when I do & when I don't - the wonders of PCOS!!! I can't even use ov sticks as my hormone levels are off & give false readings!!

I personally think that getting pg is totally luck & we seem to be giving ours away to others!!!!

Can you do the temperature thing fairyG? I did do that for a while (a while ago) and it definitely showed a change. I might try it again for a month or 2 but I am trying to get less obsessed about all this, rather than more.

Maybe temp for 2 months to check am ovulating and when, then give up and try to NOT know what cd I am on.

Umbongo consultant sounds like a bitch, if you got some of her hair I've got some felt in the craft box so could probably make a voodoo doll and stick some pins in it!! It doesn't matter if what she was saying it was true it's the way they say it that gets to me, I'm sure the White coat robs their ability to care.

Lou mini muffin would only ever go to sleep on me until about 12 weeks, so I learnt to sleep upright surrounded by pillows. My neighbours dd ( who is six weeks older than mini muffin) has slept 8 till 8 since she was six weeks!! My dh said I looked like I was going to attack her when she said that! I thought I was smiling nicely

Mini muffin is now 20 weeks old and has just got her first tooth and I'm still breastfeeding. She doesn't really sleep longer than four hours at night before needing a feed (that's a good night) but she is wonderful.

Sorry it turned into an essay big waves to everyone, I wish I could talk to people in rl like I do on here.

No RTD yet CD30 today. No stick in the house & I'll wait 2 weeks before even attempting it. I'm not sure if checking temp works either - should look into that!

Yes I am still running, I'm now 6 mins faster than I was & now doing 1 1/2 min runs with 1 min walks. Should be up to 2 min runs at some point this week. Don't seem to be losing much weight but can def see inches reducing! 3 weeks I've been doing it & am enjoying it. Hope this torrential rain stops so I can run in the morning!

Know what you mean about rl - my hairdresser was asking when DH & I were thinking of having kids - I lied & said we'll see what happens. I know what happens, you try for 3 1/2 years & NOTHING!!! For one thing why do people have to be so personal & the other is it aint none of her business?!

Fairy well done on the running and fingers crossed for the other. I would love to run but my right hip does this mad clicking when I go a bit faster than a walk!

When I was younger my parents split and it was a major scandel (my mums mum wouldn't speak to her) and she had my two younger sisters a few years later. We were made to feel odd and I can't stand it if someone says they are my half sisters. Sorry rant over need to get some sleep!!

Glad you took that in the way that it was meant from me. People are so judgemental. You end up defending yourself for no reason really. 2BH if I'd had a a little 'un with my first serious boyf then they'd have been almost 12 by now. We were together 6 years & everyone thought we'd be together forever. We lived together even though we were in our teens when we got together & early 20s when we split. We were far too young to be that serious & would have also meant that when DH & I finally have one they'd have been a big age gap & 2 diff fathers due to relationship break down. These things happen.

I've cracked open the alcohol, chocolates & cake (felt the need to pig out on cake!!!) in the pit. I'm just gonna lay on the pink fluffy cushions & wait for 5 days to be up then back on with SWI (with more effort next month!!!!) Must do better should be on our end of year report!

I am okay, finally heard from the community midwife who wrote to me with an appointment, despite my telling the dr I work away during the week, so I inadvertedly missed it. Plus I got my first scan letter through for July! I'd be 16 weeks, I need to know there is something there before then. Eeeek. Stressful. So am in negoitaion with the hospital and in the process of booking for a private scan this weekend. I am worried in case it has not happened properly again. Trying not to stress, at least by Saturday I will know either way. x Fingers crossed!

We're cycle buddies this month!!!! Yes thats true about women! I'm not suffering too bad this month (touch wood) but was awake for a few hours in the night with pain! This morning it's niggly & if I keep on top of the pain I should make it through! Maybe losing that little bit of weight has helped! But yes I need about a pint of it!

Thanks for the na pimms - love it, news so far - the community midwife is coming to my house this weekend before the private scan and I have managed to get an evening appointment for the scan in 3 weeks instead of 4 time. Luckily I have a private scan booked as well for this weekend as we just couldn't wait any longer but it is a bit ridiculous - fingers crossed anyway!

PS - Lou know what you mean about twats - dear me just the idea of having to deal with them is enough to make me shudder!

I'm so very sorry I haven't been posting on here, I stopped posting on another thread I was a regular on too. I can't explain it, just that after two mc's so close together it all got a bit too much. I was very down in the dumps for a while there, and then I got a bfp on cd27 after the mc. It's been very mixed feelings tbh, lots of tears and mentalling and just waiting for it all to go wrong again. I had a scan at 6wks and saw hb, scan at 8wk and all good and my "12" wk scan last week which was perfect! So I'm 13+1 today and due on 22nd Dec. Heard the hb on Wed at 12+6 as had a docs appointment and he said he'd listen in. Unfortunately my bp has gone up since booking in at 8 weeks so I'm back next week for a check. Had this with dd though, and it all settled down so I'm hoping for the same!

Lemon mini muffin sounds thoroughly gorgeous! My two ds's have a different dad to dd and this one, and when I was preg with dd a nurse at a&e asked me if dd was a mistake.....I was so shocked that all I could mumble was no instead of some witty bitchy retort.

Congratulations Pants Going mental is totally understandable I was mental the whole of my pregnancy and still a little bit now that mini muffin is here. Dh says I worry about not having anything to worry about!
