Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new to this so excuse the lack of acronyms!! Wink

So my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 6 months and no luck. We are desperate for a little one . Recently a friend recommended the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor to me, she got pregnant in the first month of using the machine so it came highly recommended!!!

I'm on day 8 of using it and at the moment still on low fertility, I'm trying not to get my hopes up but am getting excited at when it shows peak fertility and we can make our little baby. However, obviously this is only one person who has been successful with it. I wondered if anyone has been successful with it or unsuccessful? Confused

It was also really attractive due to the fact that my husband works away every monday to thursday so we only have a few days each week to try and conceive.

Any stories/advice that anyone could give, I would really appreciate it.

Sorry I have gone on a bit!! Blush

Thanks you

MrsK xxx

I've not used it myself, used OPK's last month though. I have the same problem with my DP being a way a lot. Day 8 is a bit early to be showing high fertility but hopefully the result would change soon.

Hi MrsK - the first cycle you use it you'll often get more 'highs' before you get a 'peak' than you will in subsequent cycles but it settles down. CD8 sounds quite early to get a high. I found it really useful - it helped me identify that my cycles were longer than I thought, so DH and I were stopping BDing too soon in the cycle. Also stops you peeing madly on pregnancy tests from day 28 of your cycle onwards as you have a better idea of when you ovulate. Lots of people try temperature charting as well -I did the two together. Hope that helps.
