Pain after EMCS?

Hello.
First of all, not sure if this is the right place to ask.
My DS is almost 10mo and was born 16 days late by EMCS as he was back to back and destressed (no time for ventuse)
For the first few months everything felt fine (a little numb but fine).

However, for the last month or so I have been getting pain, around the ovary area, under the scar. Sharp little pains which are particularly bad when I orgasm Blush Blush Blush

Has anyone else had this? I'm hoping it's just all part of the healing process.

Thanks.

I would get this problem checked out by a gynaecologist (your GP should refer you to such a person) because it may not go away of its own accord. It may be adhesion scar tissue stretching (adhesions are sticky strands and can tether organs together) and causing such pain.

I had pain for 7 months. It hurt when I tried to exercise or lift anything heavy. I saw my GP about it and was refer to a gynae. They used ultrasound to have a good look, and found some adhesions and also something on my ovaries. I can't remember the term used.

The adhesions (organs sticking together) are normal after abdominal surgery and were causing the pain for me. The solution for me was to do lots of exercise to unstick everything! It hurt at the time, but then was fine.

The things on my ovaries were normal because I was breastfeeding.

All I can suggest is you go to you GP and ask to be referred.

I hope this helps.
