Luteal phase experts?

Hi,

I seem to have managed to increase my luteal phase (I assume by taking evening primrose oil) from about 9-10 days to recently 12 days. Given that I'd conceived previously with a LP of about 9 days, it wasn't really my goal to increase it. I'm not particularly bothered, apart from it leading to false hope and optimism (and a longer 2WW!), but does anyone know whether this is a good thing or not?

Does anyone have any advice, or found this to be a useful way to increase chances of conception?

TIA

Wouldn't it give the egg more time to implant? I would have thought it was a good thing.

Interesting... The cycle I took EPO my LP decreased from 12 to 11. I just put it down to natural fluctuation and didn't think about link with EPO.

12 better than 9 for reason ellan says I think.

Thanks for replying. I took EPO to conceive my second child, and I conceived first month I used it, so not sure if it affected LP. I was just hoping it would increase CM, like last time (not been that effective there this time). Its all a bit odd!
