Went for my 21 day blood test at hospital this am, with a view to finding out whether or not I'm ovulating.

Since I'm not due to see the consultant until mid Nov, I asked the nurse how I could find out the results earlier. She said that I couldn't and asked me what I would do with them if I got them anyway. FGS, it's like whether I'm ovulating is only of interest to the consultant who ordered the tests. I wanted to slap her in the face and say BECAUSE I WANT TO KNOW IF I'M OVULATING OR NOT YOU SILLY COW. Of course, I didn't, just meekly muttered something about not wanting to wait for over a month and that I'd try phone the consultants sec later this week.

Subsequently reassured myself that I'm just being hormonal because I'm already pg. (Hollow laugh from Jamiesam )

How annoying. I went for 5-10 day blood tests today at the hospital but am not seeing a consultant there so I can get the results as soon as they get to my GP (7-10 days). The odd thing is that we can ring up and talk to an admin staff at GPs to find out results but I wouldn't know what levels to look for! Also have to wait for 21 day test.

Jane313, I've just had results back from 21 day progesterone test (2.0, so very low) & am awaiting my day 3 results. Found this website very useful for interpreting all your blood results..... fertility bloodwork

Cab they just give you more progesterone. Iwll that sort out your short luteal phase?

I wonder why my dr said 5-10 days test? Thanks for the info.
