Confusing HPT result...

Now I know that it's difficult for you to tell given that you cannot see a pic of the test but I'm hoping SOMEONE,ANYONE will be able to tell me what I want to hear help me. I POAS this morning, an Amazon cheapie, thought I could see a possible line but was tricky and heard that Amazon cheapies not the most reliable SOOO being completely POAS bonkers I decided that rather than wait (am 10dpo) I'd do one after work too...peeing on money, I know.

This time I used a morrisons own brand (no FR avaliable) and thought perhaps could see something but not sure SOOO as mentioned above I'm insane, I took it apart to check strip under light, still wasn't sure if could see anything and discarded as BFN. I put it back together and left it on the side. After about 45 mins, I went back and looked and low and behold a very thin BLUE vertical line not grey and no where near as thick as the horizontal one.

Do you think my taking it apart has effected the blue dye? If it's an evap I should only see a grey antibody line? You can probably tell I'd love this to be my BFP, been TTC#1 for 11 months. I really really want this to be REAL.

I think you know the reality is you've meddled with the test and it's not valid. Don't worry about being POAS mad I too have the amazon pee sticks in stock and realised I had blizted through 14 in two months at one point (seriously insane!). When is AF actually due?
You already know really that you need to wait and retest - the amazon cheapies and Morrisons aren't designed to give early results. If you can't wait try to get a first response and bear in mind their % accuracy increases the nearer you are to AF visiting. I hope it is a BFP! Good luck.

I think evaps can be coloured too. Just don't look after the 10 minutes are up: that way doth madness lie.

At least I now know Evap lines can be coloured! In all the months of TTC and the hundreds (and I literally mean hundreds ) of HPTs used haven't seen coloured Evap but have previously only even used Amazon cheapies so I will be prepared in future. You're right Bex I knew the REAL truth about tampering with test but just wanted it to be my BFP.
