Hi,

DH & I have been trying for a baby for about 6 months (no joy Sad )

My cycles are generally regular howover today AF arrived 6 days earlier than normal. This is really out of context for me and had no usual "symptons" beforehand.

I just wondered if anyone else has suffered this. Like I mention above I am generally regular, and just wondering if it could be anything else? I think I am in denial that the witch has got me! I really thought this was the month for us. Obviously not.

This has happened to me a couple of times (TTC 11 months) - I think that it's only once you start really going for it that you gauge an idea of what your cycles are "like", based on what they've been like when you've been TTC. With me? So then when something happens which is unusual in those 6 or 11 months, you think it's unusual per se. Does that make any sense? Sorry if not. I always assumed I had regular 27-28 day cycles until I started TTC and then found they actually varied between about 25 and 33 days.

Good luck!

Hi cookiemonster - do you know when you ovulated? If you know you ovulated at the usual time (do you use OPKs or the CBFM?) and you have been having sex around the time of ovulation then I think it's more likely that this is implantation that your LP suddendly becoming 6 days shorter for no reason (although anything is possible unfortunately!).

Also, why do you think it is more likely to be AF than implantation bleeding?

Good luck, let us know what happens! x

I do hope it is an implantation bleed cookie. But I also know that AF can do odd things every now again. I was 28 day clockwork several years ago and then for some reason AF started showing every 21 days for 3 months. It was really bizarre and it just seem to fix itself. Anyway hope it's not the witch!

Morning all,

Without putting you off your breakfast, the reason I think it is not implantation bleeding as it was too light in colour and too heavy (according to my google research!)

However will keep any eye in the hope that it could be (but lets not get our hopes up!)

Roll on next month!

Thanks for your support. It has ben really hard as I can't talk to anyone as I don't want to make it public that were are trying.

Have a good day y'all xx
