Blood Pregnancy Tests

Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if anyone out there can offer me some advice or just listen to me moan abit...

Ok here goes...

Me and my husband DTD on NYE and NYD my AF's are slightly irregular so im not exactly sure the dates of my last period was...however im pretty sure it was mid december...I pretty much always know when AF is on her way as i get all the tell tale signs - cramping sore boobs PMT etc etc

However this month - nothing...

A few days after NYD i started to get some mild cramping i assumed AF was on her way however these were mild in comparison to my usual AF...A few days later i had a very light bleed nowhere in comparison to my usual AF not enough to fill a pad however more and was produced in more of a "spot" than a usual flow if that makes sense?...

Anyway i assumed it was just my normal period however since then i have been experiencing extreme fatigue and nausea/morning sickness a few shooting pains through the breasts and backpain like you wouldnt believe...this has been accompanied by some mild cramping/pelvic pain alot milder than that of AF however enough to notice its there....

I have been to A&E, The Clinic, The Drs everyone who have all tested me for everything from STI's to UTI's all of which have come back clear...and my health has been confirmed as being in good condition

Today i went back to my GP who suggested that i take a blood pregnancy test as all urine ones have come back negative...so i guess what i am asking is... is there a chance i could be pregnant?

Did anyone else have any symptoms similar to this and then found out they were pregnant or suffering from any other condition?

Or did anyone receive a BFN on a urine however BFP on a blood sample?

I have also been referred for a pelvic scan and abdominal ultrasound...however i am very anxious as this has been going on for sometime now and am yet to find out what is wrong

Any advice would be really appreciated

Im good few cramps and twinges but nothing major no AF however still abit early resisting the urge to test again

:( I'm in hospital :'( got admitted due to the Sharp pains. I'm waiting to be examined .... Bloodshed have been taken. Might give me the news I'm after but I doubt it as they have a lot of faith in their urine test and that was negative. I've been sick and even passed out. But still no af xx

That should of read blood test not bloodshed

Hi hun. I'm still in hospital on a drip waiting to see Dr. Nothing has been said yet. Going for scans later I think. So bored unbelievable pain is wading with painkillers. How's u? Xx

Hubbub stayed til 1am then went home. My mum has just been to see me. Hubby is coming back up in a bit. Still in pain :(

Well blood and urine both are saying negative. I'm going for ultrasound to locate source of pain :(

i read this morning ina thread on here that a lady had both negative blood and urine and the scan revealed that she was 12 weeks!

Hi hun. Painkillers have been upped to morphine and codine still waiting for scan....time will tell I suppose. It may be cysts or just muscular problems. Still being sick. How are u. Still no sign of af?

AF is still not here but im thinkin she might be on her way getting a lil pain and a few twinges in the right ovary i brought another hpt from tesco i couldnt resist im gonna try with fmu and see what happens

I'm so grateful for my smartphone lol otherwise is have gone insane with boredom couldn't sleep on other ward as it was admissions so it was noises all the time ppl coming and going

AF still not here - she has until tuesday to rear an ugly head thats if my cycle is 28 days - but then either way il know as the bloods should be back by then too

the tesco hpt was negative i dno why i was thinkin i might get a feint positive at least

it just seems like all these symptoms are in vain as the blood will be negative too and il just be pissed off!

Hi hun. Sorry for he bfn but u nay be testing early still. See when the blood test comes back. I haven't had the scan yet. Looks like it'll be another night in hospital as they r now uscan tomorrow. Still no af so something isn't right x x

i wonder what it is hun gosh everythings crossed that everything is ok

yeh maybe AF is calling my bluff pretending shes on her way and then isnt lol

just thought id check on you. im home from hospital....not good news, im going to have to have my left completely ovary removed as they have found large cysts and another growth on it. they are worred it will rupture, but they want to do it as a controlled elective surgery, so i should be going in soon.

although i wont be posting on any other threads i want to see how u get on, i really hope u get a bfp, i mean cme on one of us has to get some luck!!

so how are u feeling??

my first response would be yeah im fine, but to be honest im petrified. my protein levels r high in blood which may indicate something i cant even say yet let alone type. it is frightrning.

hoefully they can just take it away and thats the end of it all.

i would be ok with just 1 ovary but trying has to be put on back burner for time being

i have never had anything like this b4 so its a big shock. i kept sying if its a cyst itll be small, i mean they r common and tend to fix themselves. but the scan showed that not going to be the case for me.

my periods are painful...but i thougt i was being a wuss lol. i mean most people get period pain. i kept getting a pain, and as i am prone to water infections and kidney stones i just kept thinking thats what it is. its only because i was ttc that i was paying more attention to cycles etc. periods were irregukar with implanon but hve been behavng themselves since i took it out.

anyways been to see gp. she has prescribed me a whole coctail of medication im now on 23 tablets a day and ive been signed off work

just waiting to hear from hospital

anyways enough about me.....did get results??
