Blood Pregnancy Tests

Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if anyone out there can offer me some advice or just listen to me moan abit...

Ok here goes...

Me and my husband DTD on NYE and NYD my AF's are slightly irregular so im not exactly sure the dates of my last period was...however im pretty sure it was mid december...I pretty much always know when AF is on her way as i get all the tell tale signs - cramping sore boobs PMT etc etc

However this month - nothing...

A few days after NYD i started to get some mild cramping i assumed AF was on her way however these were mild in comparison to my usual AF...A few days later i had a very light bleed nowhere in comparison to my usual AF not enough to fill a pad however more and was produced in more of a "spot" than a usual flow if that makes sense?...

Anyway i assumed it was just my normal period however since then i have been experiencing extreme fatigue and nausea/morning sickness a few shooting pains through the breasts and backpain like you wouldnt believe...this has been accompanied by some mild cramping/pelvic pain alot milder than that of AF however enough to notice its there....

I have been to A&E, The Clinic, The Drs everyone who have all tested me for everything from STI's to UTI's all of which have come back clear...and my health has been confirmed as being in good condition

Today i went back to my GP who suggested that i take a blood pregnancy test as all urine ones have come back negative...so i guess what i am asking is... is there a chance i could be pregnant?

Did anyone else have any symptoms similar to this and then found out they were pregnant or suffering from any other condition?

Or did anyone receive a BFN on a urine however BFP on a blood sample?

I have also been referred for a pelvic scan and abdominal ultrasound...however i am very anxious as this has been going on for sometime now and am yet to find out what is wrong

Any advice would be really appreciated

i dont think hubby is impressed on the number of sticks i have peed on, i dont know how to slip out to grab one lol

lol i have kept this little situation of mine away from the DH although i couldnt help myself and ended up tellin him at him yesterday he was as cool as a cucumber

it seems to be me doin all the worryin!

i did the last one at the weekend

hubby hasnt even reacted he thinks its stress
which is more frustrating that anything

they just dont get it

p.s. what did u say when u went to A&E to get them to check u over

well i went to A&E in my second week of symptoms cos i was having chest pains nausea after the phantom yet very light bleed and the weird cramping

they checked for a urine infection
pregnancy
checked to see if i was having a heart attack lol
and HIV

then they were just like ok your health is fine you seem in working order so take some painkillers and that was that lol

i last POAS on mon which was BFN but then i took the blood yesterday xxx

i had some swelling on my lower abdomen last week when i went to the Drs thats why they referred me for the scans at the hospital

it goes and comes back my friend said she had the same thing when she discovered she was pg! lol xx

im debating going to clinic...they r open til 8 but i dont fancy sitting there on my own, not sure if they would examine me properly

hubby has just suggested going to bed early which i dont want to get in the habit of doing

i getting a bit of pain / cramps as we speak, so im getting a bit ratty. just wish i had an answer

Yerr go to the clinic i went there too but they told me i was too early to test perhaps see how the cramps go tonight and then go tomorrow - in fact i might even go again lol

Do you ever get back pain? And is your pain/cramps similar to AF

Going to bed i end up sittin there searchin the web for every sign and symptom site on my iphone lol

lol sorry ive been a while.....i ended up in tesco...and i now have another bfn....couldnt resist.

i dont get back pain, im getting a dull tug with a shooting stitch like pain, started on my right but tonight its on the left. probably just ovulating or prearing for af

i also get a twinges - simliar when u get a smear

thats it now im waiting til i see gp. im going to stay busy. ie bought a couple of dvds to take my mind off things over the weekend (i know thatll be my weekest time)

Aaawe hun dont worry about the bfn if its meant to be itl be we still have hope!

Yeh i had the dull tug and crampy goings on but iv never felt ovu before like ever so thats why im still in hope

It could be pg levels arent high enough yet hun so dont give up just yet xxxx

i bought the tesco cheap double pack....i was considering trying again in morning with 1st sample of the day - then leave it be til examination

i am dissapointed about not getting an answer...i just know something is not right with me.

oh well, what will be will be. no matter how much wondering, wshing or hoping will alter the fact. time will tell

Well the nurse took them yesterday and said they should be ready next week

So by then il either have ++ or AF

I typed a reply and it hasnt come up stupid iphone! Well still having the back pain and sone incredible nausea at around 5 am but its subsided now fingers crossed AF dont show up

My boobs have well look a lil bigger and the lil bumps are more visible but dno if thats just me wishful symptom i think i might do a lil test later mayyyybeee lol what dyu think xxx

I'd wait til morning when sample is strongest. The urge for an answer is strong isn't it. Hope the back ache isnt too bad x x

the cramps have gone AF is not here still a bit early though to be honest

i went to tesco cos i was craaaaaaving cake and chocolate cereal lol had a cheeky walk past the special sticks aisle

but i backed away and continued to the checkout!
