Jump on if you are a TTCer hoping that this cycle is 'the one' and will result in a sprog or sprogette due in November.

carriedababi · 03/03/2011 14:46

i fell off the bus today.

Sad
HopeCalvary · 03/03/2011 15:03

Hoping for around nov 16th. Hope you all get good results!

BlueCrane · 03/03/2011 15:16

carrie I'm so sorry about AF!

Still no sign of AF here...and just spoke to DH and think he's coming home tomorrow Grin Grin ...hmmm...if all goes to plan he'll be back mid morning, do I do FR test as soon as he's home or wait for FMU on saturday?!? Maybe FMU might be better...and another day can't harm (if I can wait!)Wink

sevendwarves · 03/03/2011 15:42

Sorry carriedababi

I'm still just about managing to be patient and not test again although I have another 3 FR's upstairs. I didn't test with FMU yesterday, and don't actually know when I ov'd last month so I'm still trying to be optimistic and hope I tested too early.

sevendwarves · 03/03/2011 15:43

Sorry, when I ov'd this month (obviously!)

Loup23 · 03/03/2011 17:17

blue how many dpos are you now? If 14 or more then expect FR will show anytime of the day.....

carriedababi · 03/03/2011 17:30

thanks guysSmile

at least its made my mid upnow, its what i'd like

i won't be ttc for the next two months but will be back in may.

hopefully you will all have buns in the oven by then
xx

BlueCrane · 03/03/2011 17:34

Hi loup unfortunately I'm not sure exactly when I ov'd but probably around 14th-17th Feb which would make me 14-17 DPO so I guess the FR is worth a shot tomorrow if DH does get home then...Hmm...the thought of using a FR makes me much more nervous than the internet cheapies for some reason! Will keep you all posted!!

Well done for being patient seven how's that shoulder of yours? Have you settled nicely into your new pad now? We've just finished the latest wave of DIY which is nice, expecially if I do get a BFP as I probably won't have any energy for DIY for the next little while until the 'nesting' starts...but that's getting rather ahead of myself, need the BFP first Blush

bornofdust · 03/03/2011 17:36

Blue, if I don't get the unwelcomed visitor before then, I'll be in exactly the same situation next week! Let us know whether you crack or not (and I'll use you as my role model, no pressure).

My resolution finally gave way today. I ordered a combination of FRs and internet cheapies. But in case this is tempting fate, I've also ordered a thermometer so that I can really fuel the crazy plan proactively next month and monitor my cycle if I'm not PG this time.

I really admire lalabaloo's 'if it's not our month this month then we are going to just relax next month and DTD whenever we feel like it' attitude. I suspect that next month I may go the other end of the spectrum and take my seat on the crazy train. For example: I have avoided going to the loo today in case I get an early notification of AF's visit. Am sitting here with cramp and crossed legs.

If a woman planning a wedding is bridezilla, what's the equivalent noun for a woman planning a pregnancy??

BlueCrane · 03/03/2011 17:43

aaah...the pressure to be a role model bornofdust !! Really think you should go to the loo...you can't sit there all day with crossed legs!! Smile

I've been pretty patient this week to be honest and feeling quite pleased with myself for that!! The internet cheapies have really helped though I am getting a little suspicious of their accuracy but will see how I get on the with FR tomorrow or Saturday...my decision may also depend on how shattered DH is on his return and whether I think he can cope with elation or disappointment as soon as he gets back!! If AF does come then I may join you on the crazy train next cycle as I'm not sure I can deal with loads more 2ww's and would kick myself if I missed it because I'd been too related IYKWIM.

sevendwarves · 04/03/2011 09:34

BFN here today, I'm quite gutted. I know it's early days but I was cramping most of last week, I've really gone off tea and I'm exhausted. Still, DS took 2 years so to conceive on cycle 3 would take a miracle!

Blue we're fairly settled, but still have a spare room full of boxes! My shoulder is still no better. I had an appointment yesterday but they just said do mobilisation exercises and go back in 2 weeks. Trouble is every time I lift my arm it's so painful I feel sick :(

Poppyjen · 04/03/2011 10:10

Same here seven, really early to test but I have been having cramps and extreme tiredness for a good few days now (I remember both of these in early pregnancy with DS) but BFN this morning. Would send sympathy Brew your way, but as you have gone off tea it will have to be a (small) Wine instead Wink

Trying not to get down as I don't really know my cycle length and I think I ovd las weekend (in which case WAY too early for BFN anyway). Just don't know how usually rational and sane me can somehow feel compelled to POAS when I know it's too early....that's £8 of First Response literally down the toilet then....

P x

BlueCrane · 04/03/2011 13:18

Well Grin Grin DH is home!!! But Sad a BFN this morning on the FR!! And still no sign of AF...starting to get very frustrated now as it's CD37 out of what could be 30 or 35 so just wish AF would show if this isn't my month Angry. Still feeling crampy, bloated, sore back and hips, itchy/uncomfortable nipples, felt a bit sick this morning too but that might be because I'm exhausted!

So sorry about your shoulder seven sounds so painful!

sevendwarves · 04/03/2011 14:16

Thanks blue. How frustrating for you to have so many symptoms but still no AF or BFP! At least your DH is home and you don't have AF though, although I can understand just wanting this cycle to end if it hasn't been a successful one.

ghosteditor · 04/03/2011 15:57

Sorry to hear about the BFNs, blue and poppy, hope you get some answers one way or another (ideally BFPs of course!)

CD 14 for me today (or maybe it's 15) but DH is still stuck overseas. We haven't seen each other for a couple of weeks (since CD 2 actually) so that probably means no chance at all of conceiving this month. If all goes to plan he'll be home v v late tonight so there will be a teeny tiny chance, but only enough to make me crazy, probably not enough to make me pg Sad

BlueCrane · 04/03/2011 16:29

Aah ghost I'm so sorry...the timing is so frustratingly close for you! Will he be away again next month? Make sure you make the most of the next few days anyway...just in case Wink

BlueCrane · 04/03/2011 16:32

Just out of interest does anyone know how long it would take from implantation to getting a BFP? I think I may have had some feint pink spotting on Tuesday this week and if that was implantation could I hope for a BFP this weekend if AF doesn't arrive...or should I have it already? This waiting is now driving me nuts Confused

ghosteditor · 04/03/2011 17:14

hey blue, I think I heard on the grapevine that it's something like 6-10 days after implantation so that's certainly a thought. I can see that it must be driving you nuts but it's a definite possibility that you just don't have enough of the requisite hormone built up yet. I will keep fx for you that AF doesn't show up!

and thanks - I don't know exactly when I ov but will just have to assume that it's worth trying. Plus, y'know, it's definitely not all about the BD for us yet - still enjoying all the sex Wink

Thinking11 · 04/03/2011 18:40

AF has definately got kicked me off the bus! But I'm really pleased that I charted every 'symptom' this month so that I will be able to stop me obsessing next month.

Time to contact my donor and let him know the dates for this month and get out the credit card to replenish all my supplies ready for this months round of insemination.

Good luck to everyone else still on the bus and hopefully I wont be seeing many of you on the December bus!

Poppyjen · 04/03/2011 19:36

So sorry to hear that thinking I hope that next month is your month and Grin to a Christmas baby!

ghost I'd say it's definitely worth a try even with a small window of opportunity, just enjoy it! Thanks for your sympathy - I know it's way too early to test, why oh why do I torture myself??? Confused

blue I know someone who didn't get a BFN until a few days after she thought AF was due, turns out she must have just had a really long conception (if that makes sense). I have read that it can take anything up to 12 dpo for implantation (extreme cases but notable nonetheless), and then another 3-5 days for there to be enough HCG to show up on a blood test or even the most sensitive of POAS tests so the game's not over yet Grin. Keep us updated and enjoy your DH being home! Smile

Happy Friday everyone!

Poppyjen · 04/03/2011 19:45

oh and just adding my symptom spot for the day (TMI possibly) less cramping than yesterday by a long way but slightly tingly nipples - almost like (for those of you with DC already) when you are BF and you have a let down randomly, hope someone knows what I mean otherwise that's going to sound very odd Blush

BlueCrane · 04/03/2011 22:15

Evening all...well Sad Sad AF seems to have got me with a vengence...(TMI alert) had some pink CM and then DH and I DTD as not seen each other for a week Wink, afterwards bit of v red blood and now small amount of bleed and full on v bad cramps...in agony! Am pretty fed up as AF started late last month, but also just after DTD so am a bit Confused...maybe I'm just getting more stressed and tense about it all than I thought and the sex just relaxes my body enough for AF to start?!?! Think I may have to temp or something next month as really have no idea when I'm Oving since my cycle seems to have lengthened since I came off the pill! Pretty fed up to be honest! So...off to find the December bus...will keep an eye to see how you all get on!

sevendwarves · 04/03/2011 22:55

Oh no Blue and Thinking! I'm sorry AF got you, but I expect I'll see you on the December bus in about 36 hours, I'm quickly losing optimism after my BFN's :(

Blue without DTD my AF always starts first thing in the morning, unless we DTD the night before then i will have spotting straight afterwards and that night before AF starts properly in the morning (sorry if TMI)

ghosteditor · 04/03/2011 23:20

oh ladies, really sorry that AF got you both, I was sure good news was coming your way. Next month is your month!

one of my friends was due to give birth today, but no sign of her little one just yet! She was advised not to replace her coil when it was due to be changed because of her age (early 30s!) and fell pg right away. am v happy for her - but also envious!
