Jump on if you are a TTCer hoping that this cycle is 'the one' and will result in a sprog or sprogette due in November.

Welcoming season ticket holders and new passengers.

I confess I had to test, even though just 9 dpo, bfn obviously, but still possible! I have to lock the other tests away!

louby86 · 19/02/2011 20:52

I know what you mean googie! I shouldn't be testing until next weekend but I'm struggling to hold back! I'm telling myself with this many symptoms is bound to show positive but I don't think I can handle another bfn! AF isn't due until Wednesday, with all these symptoms if it comes it feels like it'll be the worst one ever!!!

Iggly · 19/02/2011 20:54

Give the tests to your DH/DP googie! I should have done that before using the last one this morning.

cep · 19/02/2011 21:03

evening all,
1 week gone of my 2ww, i keep symptom spotting but then such easily explained things that i then just laugh it off. I honestly don't think i've been succesful anyway as i don't think we timed it well this month. but heyho only week to go.

dolly it means aunt flo. Not sure what you mean as far as suppliment go i'm taking folic acid (ofcourse) and vit d, during the firt 2 weeks taking evening primrose oil tablets, drinking pink grapefruit juice and pineapple juice and pommegranate juice. also eating brazil nuts. the g/fruit and epo are supposed to help with ewcm, even if you're not checking if you have some it helps the swimmers last longer. pineapple juice and brazil nuts are supposed to help implantation and i've forgotten wht the pommegranate was for but supposedly something good. Grin

Hi ladies,
I'm hoping for a mid November date too. This is all new to me...who knew it was so complicated? I had no idea!! First month of 'trying', so I'm resigned to the fact it might just take a while. I've probably left it a bit late with being 35.
Good luck to you all on the 2ww
x

Collie2 · 19/02/2011 23:15

Thanks cep and mumtum my temp had a massive rise again today - 99.17 which made ff put my ov date as Thursday when I posted. We did swi then again this morning (tmi???) just in case, although I expect that would be to late.... And I actually think ff is wrong as cd 9 is very early, I think perhaps I might be coming down with something. Hope it doesn't screw up my temping for the month. If anyone wishes to take a look at my chart and offer up their thoughts feel free ad I'm clueless!!!

mumtum how's your swi going? Are you still a covert mn'er?

ghost you sound v active indeed. I know you're right about the exercise, so if when I get pg again [positive thinking emoticon] I am determined to keep exercising... although saying that I was drained for most of my pg b4 mc. Just need to get back into a routine now. I'd love to do a game sports but I just have no hand eye coordination! Grin your experience with your family member is very sad. It's funny how we look for reasons we can understand, however unlikely.

ghost imps glad you're both still in the running- fx

ghost bathroom showrooms are a rip off right? We had a quote before Christmas for £8,500 also. We think by being imaginative we can buy everything and do most of it oursevles for no more than £2/3k. Certainly can't afford 8 grand on a bathroom! We did our kitchen in the summer for just over £3,000 and that included a smeg fridge and dishwasher. We just painted the doors with farrow and ball paint and laid the floor ourselves. It was a ball ache but well worth it. bluecrane admire you for buying house in need if tlc, I think that's going to have to be our next move to get a bigger family home.

GizzyBoo · 20/02/2011 01:04

Hi ladies.

I have dithered terribly about joining a bus but I think this may be the right one.....feel free to boot me off if I is wrong. Dates = numbers...numbers = me a bit thick Blush

TTC #4 cycle 2 CD1.(thanks AF)UCL??

Been a while since I have done this....youngest is 8 and eldest is almost 14

New to AF as had Mirena for last 7 years with NO period at all....since I tugged Mirena out a month ago its been a 26 day cycle. Will see where next month takes us.

Good luck all x

dollysgirl · 20/02/2011 01:43

wow, thanks CEP!! Asda tomorrow it is then!

Loup23 · 20/02/2011 08:38

Hi to all newcomers, hoping BFPs come our way soon, anyone been lucky?

I am now dpo7 and luckily have no tests at home! Dpo5 was Bfn (unsurprisingly).

Yesterday dpo6 had lots of CM which was mainly pink (sorry tmi) and am so confused. Seems to early to be AF (temps this morning still high) but just not sure how long/much implantation bleeding is normal. Oh the dreaded 2ww..... Sorry for the me post.

Hope this week brings some bfps - weds seems to be a popular testing day so fx for all xx

Loup23 · 20/02/2011 08:42

Oh cep and dolly I was taking some vits pre-O which were EPO,B12, B6 and also agnus castus (?) but have dropped the EPO post O as read somewhere that you should stop EPO as it may cause contractions.... Only problem with google/the web, too much conflicting advice but thought I'd pass on..... X

goingmadtrying · 20/02/2011 08:42

Implantation bleed can last a few days and will not look like a normal period, yours sounds promising and a little less like an early AF, when are you going to test Loup? im currently 4dpo so going to try and hold out until next weekend to test :)

dollysgirl · 20/02/2011 10:03

thanks loup!there is lots of conflicting advice isnt there ....on everything re TTC!!
sounds very promising for u,keeping everything crossed for you!!
OK,...can anyone advise me (graphic as it may be-we r all grown-ups-lol) on testing cm??i dont really get any thats visible but i read somewhere there is a technique with ur fingers :-S ..i really want to try it as OPK'S give me irregular results, and im not ready for making the purchase of a monitor juust yet (although i have been trying now for 12 mths!!)..can anybody help ?!?

goingmadtrying · 20/02/2011 10:23

I read on here that you insert 2 fingers and gently squeeze your cervix and then when you take your fingers out split them and if its strigy between your fingers its a goer!! iygwim Grin

goingmadtrying · 20/02/2011 10:23

*stringy**

dollysgirl · 20/02/2011 10:56

lol thanks GMT...im not sure i know which bit to squeeze (call me thick) and i cant have a feel cos af is here :-S ... AND MY B-I-L lol...
FX for you for next weekend,im hoping to see BPF'S to keep me going !!

goingmadtrying · 20/02/2011 11:16

Have you felt your cervix before??. OK TMI alert, I have when sitting on the toilet its easier then as it lowers, if you put your finger in as far as it will go you should hit something that feels hard and is a little rounded, it sort of has a little slit in it, and im no expert but assuming this is where the EWCM comes from lol, its not huge so you should be able to put your fingers on each side and give it a gentle squeeze, if its not too disgusting it may be easier when on AF as Im sure it sits lower then. but make sure your BIL cant get in Grin

goingmadtrying · 20/02/2011 11:18

And thanks for your FX im hoping this month is it, although wouldnt mind next month as would be near xmas

Collie2 · 20/02/2011 11:56

GMT thanks for your excellent instructions on finding cervix. I've been trying, stood up, for few days but no idea what feeling for. Going to have another go with your advice once home later so will report back! Grin

goingmadtrying · 20/02/2011 12:05

Argh thanks although I'm really no expert just explaining how I found mine :)

sevendwarves · 20/02/2011 14:23

GMT just followed your advice on checking for EWCM. I've checked before but was just kind of poking about (sorry far tmi Blush). Its much more obvious your way and I had more than I expected. Ov should have been 3 days ago though (based on last month) so I'm now quite confused!

longlady16 · 20/02/2011 15:58

Hi Ladies,

TTC#2, first cycle will find out on Wednesday if on the November bus.
hmm

cep · 20/02/2011 16:03

is also easy to feel when squatting.

seven you can have it 1-5 days apparently, but i had mine for about 6-7, you can also get it randomly no where hear ov.

BlueCrane · 20/02/2011 17:30

Hello all..sorry been a bit quiet since Friday...feeling very confused today! Am CD25 of what might be UCL 30 or 35 and haven't really spotted any EWCM this month but today there seemed to be some Confused! Managed to convince DH we should SWI just in case Blush but still rather confused...oh, and v bloated! Guess I'll just have to wait and see! Have a drawer full of ebay dipsticks so might give those a go some time this week.

Welcome to all the newbies!

Anyone been POAS this weekend? Think it's crunch week for quite a few next week! Grin

donkir · 20/02/2011 18:10

Hi all, this whole bus thing is new to me and if I do concieve this month i can just get on November bus.
TTC#2, CYCLE 5, AF 2nd March. Not sure what CD AND UCL means.
I have an 8yr old DS from previous relationship who I concieved while on the pill so I thought this time round it would be so quick and easy. How wrong could I be. I think I convince myself that I'm pregnant every month by imagining sore boobs etc. Then take a test just to be left dissappointed yet again. I've gone all out on the SWI this month so fingers crossed.
