Anyone got very drunk whilst not knowingly pregnant?

...yes, I have been basically very good whilst we have been ttc. But I let my hair down at the w/e a bit too much and drank a lot! Now I'm feeling very guilty and AF due in a week but if I have been so lucky to have had an egg fertilised and it is now wanting to embed, would the alcohol kill my chances?? I'm sure I am over thinking it too much as someone once said you can't get rid of a good pregnancy...

Very normal, most people have done this, honestly don't worry (both pregnancies with me btw.)

Yep, several times including my 40th Birthday and found out a week later that I was 15 weeks pregnant DD is nearly 8, as bright as a button.
I think there was a little illegal weed in there as well before I found out.

I was more than likely pissed, high or both at a few points when I was pregnant with dd1. I had very irregular periods and had an implatation bleed I presumed was just a very light period, as it was not unusual for me to have periods that just lasted a day or two. I was almost three months gone by time I realised I was pregnant.

I'm not proud of it, but dd1 is 7 now and is fine, she is very talented at reading and writing and does very well in school, so it seems not have effected her.

Hi, I drank to excess while I was pregnant twice,(separate pregnancies and I didn't know at the time!) once on my Hen night and a week later found out I was pregnant, and my first pregnancy it was my birthday and a bit too much drinking was what caused my surprise pregnancy there!
Unfortunately, one of my pregnancies didn't work out but that wasn't because of drinking.

Anyway, there is no way of knowing if your drinking could have caused the loss of a pregnancy, so I really would try not to worry about it! And my 20 month old is testament to booze not necessarily hurting your chances of conceiving.

Yes. On the day I was due a period, it didn't show up but I didn't really think about it, because we'd only blown off the condom once. So I got so drunk I boaked.

Found out I was pregnant two days later.

Any time before AF is due the foetus will not have implanted and won't be getting anything from you anyway. No placenta = no alcohol (or anything at all) reaching embryo.

Yep, me too! We held a cocktail party, and you can guess how that ended up!
Found out I was 5weeks pregnant a week later!
No harm done to my DS!!!

On holiday in Greece, only a few weeks but ate all the stuff you shouldn't as well like shellfish and peanuts.

Don't really drink much as a rule but I was on holiday... Spent the rest of the pregnancy te-total

I feel a bit less guilty about drinking while TTC now.

I just found out I am pregnant, and at the weekend on Friday I had 3 guiness, 2 wine and a port!
