how long did it take all you pill users to get a regular cycle after coming off?

Hi all, ive been on the pill, trinovum, for 11yrs and came off just before christmas to TTC#1. i had my first period 47days after my pill induced period. i really hope this isnt how long my cycle will be?? just want to hear other peoples waiting times for a regular cycle to appear. thanks.

My first was 45 days, next 33 on cd 11 at the moment. B4 my pill I was 28 day cycle, but it's been 15 years! Some people go back to normal straight away, others can take longer- I understand your frustration as it does make working out ov more difficult

I came off Brevinor in November after 14 years, and to my surprise went straight back into 28 day cycles. I had been very regular before, but even so - that was a long time ago!

I came off the combined pill after 15 or so years and had cycles of about 30 days. After DS1 and I came off the mini pill, I had various cycles of between 45 and 28 days. Never really settled down before I was pregnant with DS2.

I stopped cerazette in October......9 long weeks before first AF appeared, then very short 17 day cycle, now on CD 23 of hopefully first proper cycle (fingers crossed!)

Thank u ladies. but whats CD?? lol. i didnt have regular periods before the pill tho, but i had only started my periods 2yrs before starting the pill so not really sure what my 'normal' cycle is. would really like a 28 day one so its easier to work out when im ovulating.

Cycle day- as in first day of period is cycle day 1 x

Oh just you wait no1childminder....you will soon be throwing around all the TTC acronyms, EWCM, HPT etc my personal favourite is SWI!

6 months before my 1st period - from what I remember they were regular after that after 4ish months.

I was on cerazette for 18 months, regular cycle from about 6 months. I got an app for my phone which tracks my cycle which has helped me get a handle on my cycle (I'm averaging 27 days).

i went straight back to 28 days from the word go. (had been 29 -32 days before i was on the pill so was surprised they became so text book regular immediatly!)

fingers crossed i do get a normal, regular cycle!
strawberrypie i dont understand half the stuff you wrote! teehee. i definately have to look up these acronyms :)

Came off Cilest 1st October, had withdrawal bleed a week later, then nothing until 23rd January.
