Mirena....TMI....Oh gosh!

I have an appointment for next week to have my Mirena removed....seems I wont be needing it

After a vino or 2 tonight I decided to check all was in place before next weeks appointment....found the strings and gave a little tug.....next thing I know the little mite is in my hand

Just keep looking at it thinking....wow....this is it then

Anyone with any experience of cycles following use of the mirena....I have had one in place since DS (8) was born.

Guess we are now officially TCC

OMG! I would have also pulled mine out if they hadnt cut my strings too short! Congratulations! How freaky though! I would have had a heart attack finding i could have pulled it out myself! I had mine out for 9 days now, so not experienced cycles following mirena use! Keep us updated! Good luck with TTC

Mine came out a coil check when I coughed. It shot out across the room. The doctor was a little surprised and asked if I wanted another. Um noo suprisingly

Post Mirena period lasted nine days but was fine really - two days afterwards I felt like a cloud was lifting - I was more energetic and despite the period happy as a sandboy!

Haha BabyBorn it was all very bizarre....I couldn't sleep afterwards for excitement.....I am a grown woman ffs and just sat there looking at it grinning. Have you had any withdrawal bleeding??

WMMC thats good to know. I have been crampy all day and had a bit of spotting so just waiting for that first AF. And it does indeed feel like the begining of something
