DH has clear semen and I'm worried???

I haven't mentioned this to DH because I don't want him to freak out but I thought semen was white if sperm was present. I think his has always been this colour but I am not sure.

This is our second cycle of trying and I am already getting nervous!!! I am on the TWW now. Was so disappointed last month as had all pregnancy signs (at least I was convinced I did!) and I felt a huge sense of loss when it came back negative.

I have never heard it said that clear sperm is inactive or incapable of causing pregnancy. My partners sperm is quite often clear, not white and I have just had our second child. I think you will get pregnant, just give it time, it took me three and a bit months to conceive and although I was worried I did get pregnant in the end. Good luck trying to conceive!! x x x

hey, it sounds like you may be doing what i do and probably a lot of women do when it doesn't happen the first cycle and that is overthink and panic a bit too much. It's totally understandable and Believe me, I have panicked about everything and I even sent DH off to get his tested!

I'm not sure you can tell how good your partner's sperm is by just looking at it. If you find yourself still not pregnant in a few months and it's still bothering you, I would talk to him or talk to a GP and then to put your mind at rest just get a sperm analysis.
Once DH got tested and his results seemed okish, I obviously just started getting nervous that there was sth wrong with me!!
Who said TTC is fun!!
