Those months when you ttc but don't...

...does anybody else get strange 'symptoms'?

eg. one or more of the following...
Gassy and bloated
Nausea and sickness
Sore boobs
Wierd metallic taste
Cramping
Slightly heavier period at the end than normal?

They can't all be psychological/wishful thinking surely?

How common is it for part of the conception process to take place - maybe the egg fertilises but doesn't implant? Or does just the prolonged presence of sperm do strange things to us internally?

Sometimes I get more pregnancy symptoms in the months when I don't conceive, than the months when I do!!!

I've read that up to 50% of conceptions fail to implant.

definitely you're not the only one....it's a cruel trick our bodies play on us every month! I think I've just had my AF, but I still have sore boobs & nausea & funny taste in the mouth!!

P.S. KnackeredCow..... your name describes me very well at the mo.... I'll blame that as another side effect of TTC! I pity anyone who has to put up with me these days
