Fertility Bracelet / Beads

I'm not sure if I have posted in the wrong section so appologies if this is the case.

I want to help a friend who has been struggling to conceive for the last couple of years. We met last night and she was very down and losing hope. I'd like to be able to do something for her, as well as being supportive and providing a shoulder to cry on.

I was thinking about giving her a fertility bracelet or beads to place under her pillow. I understand that rose quartz is one of the stones commonly used.

I wonder if anyone has used these or if they are considered to be a bit naff/silly. I'd just like to help my friend who is suffering.

Many thanks.

If I had been trying to conceive for a number of years, was seeking medical treatment, having numerous tests and undergoing procedures and a friend gave me one of these- I would throw it at their head.

But your friend may be a nicer person than me.

That's sweet of you to want to help her. And she may be the type of person that's into stones and crystals and things.

Personally, I'd be a bit Hmm about it all. And to be honest, if she's been trying to conceive for a couple of years, a bracelet ain't gonna cut it!!

But maybe planning a special day out for her - something to take her mind off it. And do things she couldn't do if pg - lots of drinking, a spa, a massage, sky diving!! Grin

Ok, so Notasize10 is closer to how I really feel, but I was trying to be diplomatic!!!

Rose quartz is meant to be good for balancing emotions, keeping you positive and for healing so maybe give it to your friend on that basis if she's into crystals than saying it's a fertility bracelet / charm. It's great you're being so supportive.

I 'personally' love that kinda thing Blush so wouldn't mind being given a bracelet or a fertility stone etc BUT it would depend on who it was from.
If it was from my mum then i'd love it & accept it as a lovely gift.

My mum bought me a little St Gerard medal which i wear, he's the saint of expectant mothers. Theres a prayer that went with it for women ttc & then a different prayer for protection whilst pregnant. For me as a catholic i loved it.

I would be careful about giving things to people for fertility unless they themselves have expressed that they believe in them.
