TTC by Chinese Gender Chart?

Hi All! Newbie here.

Will be TTC Baby No 2 soon. Just interested if anyone has consciously used the Chinese chart to select the gender of their baby rather than to predict the gender of their baby. I mean have any of you only done the deed during supposedly girl/boy periods because you were particularly hoping for one or the other?

I really didn't mind what we got the first time around as long as I made it through the pregnancy and our baby was happy and healthy. If I'm lucky enough to get pregnant again and have another wonderful child, I have to admit that I have a slight preference this time.

Anyone else used the chart while TTC?

I didn't but it predicted the wrong gender for me anyway!

:) I think the chinese gender predictor is a bit of fun! Don't blush!

We didn't have any preference last time, and don't this time, but it got it right for #1! If I was to catch this month, according to the chart it would be another girl! lol!

What are you hoping for?

The chart was wrong for DD but right for DS so make of that what you will!

It was right for all three of mine!

I'm sure there will be just as many for whom it was wrong, though.

There have been many, many threads on here about this. And generally whether it has worked has ended up pretty 50/50 across the board. As you'd expect.

It's not really accurate you know. You get what you're given.

Thanks folks!

Once I found out about the chart, I went through it and worked out that it was correct for my sisters and my close friends!

CazandBelle - I have to admit a preference for another DD! Are you TTC?

Have to say, it's a bit spooky. Apparently the chart was lost for 700 years and then turned up in a tomb.
Oh well, I should really get on with potty training DD and stop these musings.
Just a brief respite!

worry yes we're ttc.

I know lots of people it has been spot on for, but equally loads of people where it wasn't right!

it will interest me to look though to see if the chart is right after I've gone for my 20 week scan!
