... just wondering it's my first month trying and I'm on CD 19. Ever siince CD 7 it's said I'm high but not peaked once.

Reading the instructions it says that I might be due a very long cycle or I have done a test wrong.

Has anyone else ever had this? Am I being thick?!

hi there

for the first few months it can show high very early - its detecting a rise in oestrogen which happens very gradually during the first part of the cycle and then eventually triggers the LH surge (which is when you see the peak). I got pregnant both cycles of using the monitor so it never got used to me and i showed high from pretty early both times (day 8 i think), but i think once you have used it a few months it can recognise when you are actually high, ie your oestrogen level reaches the threshold that triggers ovulation.

Hope you peak soon!

Hi, I have the opposite prob... I have been using the CBFM for 2 cycles now and both times I have had no highs before my peaks .. both cycles have shown me peaking on CD13/CD14 ..then day of high afterwards..
Is this strange ??? or has anyone else had this too on thier first couple of cycles?
(confused)

mmmm, that is strange. A friend of mine completely swore by hers and said it worked on the third cycle but I'm not so sure.

Soppy - is this your first cycle?

Ilove kitty - congrats!

I'm on CD 20 - still high but not peak!

It takes 1 or 2 cycles to get used to what's "high" or "peak" for you.
