Just wondering, it may never even happen as hubby hasn't exactly been forthcoming with desire to have a fourth child. But they may change as I know he would have loved 2 daughters (I would prefer another boy but either sex if fine)

We have 3 children, dd almost 6yo, ds1 4.5yo, ds2 6.5m.

Ideally would like to start ttc#4 Spring 2012, that way ds2 would be at least 2yo before bambino number 4 came along :).

At the moment it's a pipe dream but was wondering what others would do?

Spring 2012 is AGES AWAY!!!!!!!!! just enjoy your new baby for now and talk to hubby next year :-)

I wish it was always that simple!

I had children of similar ages to you when I was ttc#4, as I wanted a small gap between #3and#4 as I did between #1and#2, but since then I have had 9 miscarriages..... So what I am saying I don't know! My youngest is now nearly 3 years old and still no #4 for me.

I just hope you get your dream. While you are waiting for your dh to be pursuaded, do enjoy your little one.

Thank you for your replies :)

I know 2012 is a long time away but I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to planning and organising things - even if they don'y happen, I like to have a plan just in case Grin

And I am most definitely enjoying my darling baby boy and my older kids for that matter... In fact I think thats part of my desire for another baby! My midwife actually said she expects to see me preggers again in a few years, because she can tell I'm not finished! I suppose she see's it a lot - she's seen me through all four of my pregnancies (1 mc) so knows me well too, which helps.

I just love being a mother, and I can't get enough of it. I have days where I get stressed when dd and ds1 are bickering and falling out but thats kids for you I guess...

I'm only 25, dh is 24 so we do have time on our side - and plenty of opportunity to decide if it's the right thing for our family, don't want to 'rock the boat' too much.

Financially we would be ok, as far as I can see the main and biggest problem would be the family vehicle! Dh is utterly devoted to our pair of grande punto's, one of which is going back this year as I no longer have a need for mine as I won't be returning to work after maternity leave this time (thank you dh's promotion!!)

Aaaaah well...lots to think about and lots of time to think.

Thanks again :):):)
