Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

Sorry you are feeling so vile.

panpipe have you come on yet? I seem to remember you had exactly the same long cycle as me.

4andnotout · 24/01/2011 17:50

Hello can I join?

We are ttc #5, I had my last depo jab last march but still waiting for my body to get back into the swing of things! Had some spotting last night and today which is the first time since before I fell pregnant with dd4 (2) so hoping this is a good sign.

I'm not charting etc just mainly shagging Wink

JosieSmith1 · 24/01/2011 20:32

Welcome 4andnotout (waves)

Sorryabout ERTD arriving for GOML and Nickel Sad

I've given up on temping and have decided it just doesn't work. Temp gone back down today and I'm convinced it's the thermometer not me Grin Wishful thinking perhaps?

Have just sent DH out to asda to get me some ice cream and dime bars, haven't had them for years! I'm so excited Grin

Hope everyone's ok

kateepie2 · 24/01/2011 20:43

Ooh can I join please? I've been giggling laughing myself silly over this thread today (yep, read right the way through from the start). Pantsnot always gets me smiling Grin

Sorry for those who fell to the ERTD, better luck next time round... and good luck to those waiting to test.

I'm ttc numero uno, currently halfway through cycle 3 and not looking forwards to the loooong wait til I found out if I will be preggers or not by 10 Feb. Too bloody impatient, that's my trouble (obsessive, moi?)

:)

NervousNelly · 24/01/2011 22:53

Evening all. Just thought I'd check in. About 6DPO here, so no symptoms here yet, made up or otherwise. We did manage a true JS last night Grin.

Sorry for the ERTD's arriving - the witch Angry. Waves hello to all the newbies too!

Had a very baby filled couple of days. In-laws came round with our Nephew (13mos) and a friend with their 4mo daughter. Was lovely and our nephew took his first steps when he was here Grin. Then tonight, went to visit a friend who had a boy 3 weeks ago, he was also super cute! Only thing is, went with another mutual friend, who has a 2yo; and felt a bit left out with all the shared experiences and mushy love-ins about how having a child was so amazing, etc etc. I am sure it is, and of course they don't know I'm TTC, but still felt a bit Hmm about it. Which makes me a Bad Person.

Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky soon :)

Must go to bed, mwahs to you all

crowette · 25/01/2011 08:10

Good Morning, and welcome to the newbies!

Sorry about AF nickel Sad

Still waiting here ... had some mini cramps yesterday afternoon, went for a snooze and 'dreamt' I was having more, so woke up feeling like AF was well and truly on her way, but still nothing. I'm now offically late! Boobs are still tender, and I think that's about the only symptom I have of anything at the moment Hmm apart from some very low level nausea (that sort of mouth watery sensation in back of mouth) but then I could just be imagining that, as it's barely there Grin

I have work this afternoon, so hopefully that'll take my mind off things, and lugging around trays of fruit and veg may kick AF into starting if she's waiting!

Morning all,

Sorry - wasn't AWOL, just busy at work.

Sorry to hear about ERTD Nickel and GOML Although I'm not sure that one day counts as a period. One Day?! That's insane!!

Fingers crossed crow. Keep busy and by the weekend you should know for sure. I guess I'm same as you - CD29 today, but definitely not going to test til Sunday, as 33 days last cycle. Sure AF will arrive.

Sounds like your w/e was similar to mine Nelly. I fed all 3 (nearly 4!) of my nieces on saturday. They came over for lunch and then took the 5 year old to watch DH play rugby, which was great fun. Actually, I might have said this already....sorry...I'm repeating myself. Ho hum!

However, Nelly you are not a bad person cos of your reaction to all the baby talk. You'll get your turn.

Got2Dance · 25/01/2011 09:20

Foghorn - when are you due to test?

Welcome to 4notout and Katee

BamBam21 · 25/01/2011 09:21

Morning everyone! And hi to all the new folk!

Hope you are feeling better today nickel -

crow I still have everything crossed for you!

josie - you weren't craving the ice cream and Dime bars were you? [bhmm] [bwink]

BamBam21 · 25/01/2011 09:25

Ooh, foghorn and Got2! [bgrin] It's so exciting in here!

DP and I managed another JS last night. Lovely!! [bblush] On about day 11/12 now, so really going for it! Grin

Ahh...so you're a tad early just yet, foghorn [bsmile]

[bbear] - just cos....thought he looked cute.

DH woke up in the mood, but I really really wasn't. Surprising, as normally completely up for it. TMI here - usually my breasts are really sensitive and a bit of TLC on them get me going like nothing else. [bblush] Not today. Oh no. [bconfused]. I told DH he might as well have been fondling my elbow!!! [bgrin]
Crazy symptom? [bhmm]

Trying to get as many of these in as I can [bwink]

crowette · 25/01/2011 09:37

G2D my last cycle was 27 days, and that's the average I think ... although I've been known to have the odd one here and there that are up to 47 days! But I'm pretty sure I know when I OVd, and that'd make me 2 days past AF due now :) So holding out on testing until the weekend, if I get the chance! I MCd on CD35 last time I was PG, so I want to make sure this one gets the chance to stick (if indeed there is one to stick Confused)

Got2Dance · 25/01/2011 09:39

Absolutely Crow - I remember. I'm doing same as you - leaving it as long as poss to test.

crowette · 25/01/2011 09:49

I'm being remarkably calm though - no rushing to the loo for knicker checking every 5 mins, like last time Grin I'm sort of thinking, what will be, will be. Of course I'll be gutted if AF turns up, but I'd rather her turn up than get a BFN and carry on waiting - perverse in a way, I know!

welcome to the thread, katee and 4notout

stop with your symptom spotting Shock Naughty, naughty girls.
Grin

well, yesterday evening I was in agony - I felt like someone was pushing my stomach out from inside :(

I thought that it's not normal for a period, so we decided that it might be a plan to buy a test anyway.
cos my period hasn't fully started (don't know if anyone can remember me saying that i get 2 days of nothingness then whoosh! blood everywhere), we thought maybe there was a teeeeny chance it could be spotting, not period.
So we went to sainsbury's and bought a double pack of tests and tampons and towels! I was embarrassed by this combination so we went to the self-checkout - where our shopping kept playing up Angry and I knew the lady who was helping Blush

Anyway, did the test this morning in my ramekin, and it was a BFN. a BF N.
don't feel so bad now, though, which is weird - I know what it is, so I feel better iyswim.

crow - you have the patience of a saint! I am very impressed! [bsmile]

nickel - I hope you are okay. That sounds odd that you were so sore. LOL at the tampon and test combo though! I've done that in Boots before [bgrin]

nickelbabysnatcher · 25/01/2011 10:38

DH said "don't worry, we'll say one's for if the other doesn't work!" Grin
