Hello all im new to this so here goes, im ttc my first baby my ovulation day was last thursday so we did the deed the night before so that the little fellas are there waiting to hopefully catch my egg :) since day after ovulation i have had increased clear stretchy discharge and i am still getting it today, is this anything to worry about or could this be a sign we have actually done it??? Any advice will be took into consideration thanks :)

Are you sure that was your ovulation day? ARe you using opks or charting? It sounds like the sort fo "pant snot" that comes just before ovulation so it is possible that you have your dates wrong or your cycle is a bit different this month. I'd say do some more trying!

yes was defo ovulation day as i had it 2days previous to that 2 and been doing opk's and last thurs was day 14 of my 28day cycle, im just so confused also iv had mild twinges in lower abdomen today 4dpo so im gettin worried x

It's just that after ovulation mucus normally returns to thick and whiter colour. This is usually a sign that ovulation has occured. If you really are 4dpo it is much too early to be having any symptoms. Guess you will just have to wait till day 28 and see! Good luck!!

I find the whole pant snot thing very difficult to understand. I'm currently waiting to test bu my periods are only once every 3 months so waiting till the end of Feb to test. Think I ovulated a few weeks ago. Have had a horrible cold/ flu with high temp and couldn't keep anything down though last week so was a bit worried. I've also had strange, sharp pains shooting up from my groin.
But this week mucus has definately been a lot thicker. What does it do when you are pregnant?
I do have 1DS but I was 9.5 weeks gone before I realised and can't remember what my body did other than but me off Greek food! (we were in Crete when it I realised)
