Hi

After 2 miscarriages I am ttc again. Normally my periods are as regular as clockwork and have been since my last mc. Now this month I'm 6 days late but much to my disappointment have already had 3 negative test results so I guess that is that. Any idea why this period is late? Any hope that I am pregnant? How long should I wait until I contact my doctor?

Thanks

It depends if you have been charting or tracking your ovulation.
It is possible that you didn't ovulate this cycle or ovulated late. It is perfectly normal for a woman to skip ovulating once a year without that being considered a problem. That would explain a late period. Or perhaps you have ovulated but a week later than usual.
It is possible that you are pregnant although for most people that would have shown up on a test by now. If you don't get your period soon it may be worth requesting a blood test for pregnancy to put your mind at rest?
