Is this a sign of pregnancy or am I being a shameless symptom spotter?

Hello,

Have had strange pains which go from pubic area and shoot upwards. They have mainly happened when i've been doing anything physical, a bit like a stitch. I was wondering if it could be ligaments stretching?
Is this just ridiculous. Please, please put me out of my misery.

Don't know enough about your situation but I get this pains as a result of scar tissue buildup following my c-section.

Do you have any other symptoms?
I drive myself crazy, this month things simply "feel different" so I am convinced it might be the month! been TTC for a year now. AF due on Wednesday but feel optimistic because I'm not sturggling with PMS (but that might be due to taking magnesium). I think you need to take a deep breath and relax! (I know easier said than done) and wait to see if AF turns up before jumping to conclusions....good luck!

Sludge, I have had a c section. Maybe that's it. How long after c section did you start getting them?
My periods are mad. Can be up to 4 months so will wait till beginning of Feb to test.

Toytown - I have the same thing... they started as a twinge on my left side (where I assume my ovary is) and now I keep feeling a weird pain in my central upper pubic area (sorry for unnecessary detail). Never, ever felt anything like that in my left before...

Have you had a c section LaraMi? I have a few other symptoms but this just stands out as different.

No - no babies before. Am trying for my first now. In addition to the pain in my front pubic area, I also have a persistent dull backache and also occasional spotting (has lasted three days).
