Is this ovulation pain?

Sorry if this sounds stupid.
Today, I had shooting pains (down there Blush) and I can only compare them to engaging pains I had towards the end of first pregnancy with DS.
Are these ovulation pains? My cycle is haywire, 3 months ish so no idea on calculating.
Thanks for any ideas.

hi was it like stabbing pains up there ?
as i had that after i ov i ov on the 27th and 28th of dec
think i had the pain this week maybe the witch is coming for me the af witch x

they are quite sharp but not at all like period pains. More like the sharp pains when baby was pressing down.
