IVF abroad?

Hi there, brand new to Mumsnet so sorry if I get the terminology wrong! We have been TTC #2 for three years- clomid, acupuncture and one v early MC later I think we're ready for IVF. Just wondering if anyone else has done this abroad and has any advice? Not looking for clinic recommendations but countries or advice to stay home much appreciated

Guess probably advice about going to Europe really- if it's worth the hassle of going abroad from UK to save a bit of cash, and which countries are good. Would love to come to the US but think it's probably not worth the airfare!

I have no experience of this but I interviewed (am journo) a woman who arranges IVF treatments in Sweden. She did sound very genuine: her website is here - I was impressed by her but, as I say, haven't had IVF here or abroad. Sorry that you are having difficulties TTC.

can recommend Polish fertility clinics, high success rate, PGD/PGD NGS, eggs freezing, all inclusive programs, experienced with international patients. E.g. good fertility clinic in Gdansk (top rated in 2015) I*ta, and to answer MadamDeathstare- a clinic has designed a special program for international patients of 3 visits, the longest visit - about 5-7 days. For more details it is better to ask a clinic. Gdansk- great city, very beautiful, low cost (really!), great shopping and various entertainment, very friendly and clean. You will like it.
