battery Also good for lining: 1000mg Vitamin E, red raspberry leaf tea and bromelain (its the stuff that is in pineapples). There is a hotly raging debate about baby aspirin too. (very confusing if you google, some say only AFTER BFP because it might prevent implantation but others say it helps lining )

re drugs: Ignore anyone who wants you to go on the pill, that THINS the lining as does Chlomid. Estrace (estrogen) thickens linings and so does Pentoxifylline and Tamoxaphen. Some AS doctors also prescribe Viagra pessaries but Dr March doesnt think that this actually works. Just so you have a bit more info for your next appointment! xx

Hi barren - just popped in to say hello. Who are you seeing at St Mary's? I saw Mr Magarra - was a bit so,so. A friend recommended Miss Webber and I was about to attend a private appointment with her when I had to cancel it(1stly for flu, 2ndly for bfp).

Holidays are a good idea. Have you bought any expensive tight clothes recently? A colleague of mine insists that is how she managed to conceive. When she told me this (I was not pg at the time) I thought why isn't it happening to me. Then I got an expensive Gerard Darel suit in the sales, wore it for about 8 weeks and it is now too tight........

Not foolproof but at least you have the nice clothes/holiday whatever happens.

I'm feeling good, temps still up, no blood and I am off to the clinic again today to get bloods taken for the second time. I broke the news to DH last night, but gave him far too much detail, totally confused him to the point where he thinks we are going to find out for sure when I get the blood results back later today He'll catch up soon I am sure

Feeling bit brighter today but I think that's down to having beasted myself at the gym for a couple of hours this morning and my new (second hand) DSLR camera has arrived, I am so excited it's here!

battery the start of the cycle is grim, however I think I must be about cd7 now and am definitely feeling better. This has been helped by going over to my sister's for a couple of days - she has also had a terrible time with mcs and ep, but has just invested in a new puppy, who is absolutely gorgeous and definitely good for stress levels!!

tony hope all is well with yourself and the double beans. I think I'm testing your friend's theory at the minute - last week booked a 2.5 week camping holiday in August (in a tent - I don't "do" tents!) that will be completely uncomfortable if I am big and pg, and also spent lots of money on fitted size 10 clothes from Monsoon. Surely I have tempted diffment enough?!

Anyway, hope you're all having a good Friday. DS has gone to a sports afternoon at school and DD is at a friends so I am having an unexpectedly peaceful afternoon. I really should go for a run but it's started to rain, so that's not going to happen

Ok, so I'm very here today. Two negative OPKs yesterday on CD13 (latest one at midnight was almost there though) Then temperature up this morning So, I peed on two different sticks this afternoon (both internet cheapies, just different ones). The brand I'd been using yesterday gave a clear negative and the other brand gave a strong positive. WTF??

I know the obvious advice would be to keep swi but our attempts this morning were scuppered when DH struggled to perform beacause a) he was late for work and b) DD had woken up next door and was in her cot shouting "Go, go, Gobo" (She likes Gobo the goat from Big Barn Farm) It didn't help that I said she was cheerleading him. I seem to be quite good at killing the moment.

How can two different OPKs give to such opposite results?! Starting to wonder if the original batch is duff. Duff diff sticks?! (I usually ov day 13/14)

izzy - I am a fair weather runner too. I say that like I am Paula Radcliffe or someting - I use 'run' very loosley. More like 'limp'.

Nicks I think its a typo from BB but it made me snigger because beasting is another term for shagging - on the East coast of Scotland at least. So it brought forth images of very inappropriate activities down the gym, especially beasting yourself! Maybe what she means is that she beat her previous best? This is coming from someone that's never set foot inside a gym though...

wiggle I'm laughing alot at go go gobo!!!! Your poor DH! Him thinking his daughter was cheering him on while giving Mummy a good seeing too probably didn't help! Sorry for laughing! As for camera, I'm crap at taking photos too but was on a course a few weeks back with work that had a photography input and I caught the bug. However I thought starting off with an entry level 2nd hand camera a bit more sensible than forking out a fortune on a new one. They do take better pictures and you can manually focus so get the blurry background arty type shots.
