The resurrection of the 6th form common room for those inbetweeners who are TTC/PG after mc and are too long in the tooth to fit anywhere else

The resurrection of the 6th form common room, a place to put your feet up, wallow in self pity (me) or rejoice (and tremble in fright) at new growing beans and baybees after mc. No lists. No stats. No babydust. No feeling bad if you can't keep up.

Go.

I get the expensiveness of the peesticks Jolls I am keeping everything crossed for you melovely x

Velvet before I got the + with DD I got wrecked at best mates wedding and it was also christmas, she is fine and dandy :)

AandRMum · 15/02/2011 20:59

velvet I have done some pretty extensive research into drinking during pregnancy and also eating sushi - suffered severe guilt post mc about doing both - other than for alcohol abuse there is no data to link moderate consumption with mc or featul problems As for sushi, if it is prepared in a restaurant or shop then it must be frozen before serving which removes the worms which are the problem

Velvetcu · 15/02/2011 21:05

Well I'm safe from the sushi curse coz I have fish - don't know quite what I'm going to eat in Japan yet!

Maybe I shouldn't test Friday and just have a few drinks anyway at the weekend. DH is pressuring me everyday to POAS and I know he will be on my case about drinking even if I get a BFN Friday.

Mamapower · 15/02/2011 21:40

Noodles velvet Noodles mmmmmm!

Waves to all before my will to live vanishes... The Brits has just finished me off!!

AandRMum · 15/02/2011 21:46

They do the best omeletes - hmm I'm not food obsessed promise!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 15/02/2011 21:57

velvet I get what you're saying - every month I have brown cm for at least a day before af and part of me always thinks it might be implantation and it never is...having said that, I'm going to have to keep my fx and my suspenders on for you anyway because it's not over yet and you do have all those lovely symptoms

I also got very drunk 2days before a bfp (thought af had arrived - was wrong!) but I suspect you're not going to be easily convinced. If I were you, if af isn't here by Friday I would poas then and if it's bfn have a few drinks with a clear conscience.

loola2shus · 15/02/2011 23:40

OOOh its getting exciting around here! Especially you Jollster loving the pristineness!

I am feeling suprisingly good today, had appt at Gynae and they have told me I have to have a laparoscopy on 4th April, I was really not expecting that!!

However they did also tell me to lose weight ( was expecting that! )

For some reason the appointment has made me feel better, I have a new optimisim that I haven't had for months.

This cycle is my last chance before op, then on contraception for a month Sad

...but in the bottom of my heart I know its for the best- I could be a stone lighter by then and that has to be good?!

Also got my graduation date today so something else to focus on for a while! (by that I mean blind panic about the sheer amount of work I have left to do!!)

Anywho, really excited for possible BFP's on friday, FX ladies and hugs to everyone else, sorry for me me me! mwah x

youremindmeofthebabe · 16/02/2011 08:37

Glad to hear you're optimistic loola. It can only helpSmile

When are you off to Japan velvet? I'm excited for you. My pals have just been to China to the ice festival, and I had a friend who lived in Osaka in Japan. Gutted I've never been to visit though.

BB gutted for the lack of dumping, but yey for good enough! I had a temp shift today, so hopefully in time for getting sloshed/being pg!

In other news, I buggered up the SMEG plan by falling asleep last night. Ah well.

jolls How's it going?I was going to enquire about the gusset, but it just sounded so wrong.

When do you have to test mummya? In time for B'day?

Waves to mamap nix aandr dachs magic8 izz and lurky lurkersSmile

digitalgirl · 16/02/2011 12:53

mornin' all!

YRMOTB I am due to test on the 24th, the day after my birthday according to FF. It looks like early ov and a short cycle but I really want to believe FF is right because I stopped shagging soon after ov (exhaustion) I doubt very much I will hold out till 24th! I dont have the steely nerves that the others do, based on previous performance I will probably start testing in a few days!!Blush

loola wow lots of big news! What is your lap for? have fun at your graduationSmile

Jolls and Velvet will be logging in hourly to see your news! Everything is still crossed, suspenders on and lucky charms are in the post Grin

I am convinced that everyone is getting pregnant this month! It must be that 5DPO optimism Grin I am going to try and do as many constructive things as possible before it wears off and the doubt comes back at about 11 DPOWink

owlbooty · 16/02/2011 13:17

Ooooh. Lots of POAS action - aceness Grin

I'm not going to horrify you all with the suspenders but I shall cross lots of things and plump up your reserved beanbags on t'other thread in preparation for all the bfps :)

Superdrug early tests are both reliable and cheap btw Grin

DachshundsWantPuppies · 16/02/2011 17:28

mummyabroad · 16/02/2011 17:41

Dach Fab news!!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Must be daunting but its a GOOD kind of daunting. Very pleased for you lady Grin Grin

Velvetcu · 16/02/2011 17:48

Yay Dachs I'm really pleased for you :)

SameOldJollster · 16/02/2011 19:55

Aww Dachs what faberoonie news. May all continue to progess well and happily.

On gusset watch I'm afraid I have news of the non pristine kind. In fact from nothing to full on RTD in about 4 hours. Have never had that before. It's almost as though I started spotting last Thursday-Sat, and then my body just went on strike or had temporary amnesia for 3 days and then remembered it was supposed to be shedding womb lining... like "what did I come downstairs for... oh yeah, I'm supposed to be exiting the house". Hey ho. Who wants to be pregnant anyway... AngryHmmEnvySadGrin.

So I hand on the baton... C'mon who's going to cheer me up with a BFP.

Off to bathe in Oyster Bay x

mummyabroad · 16/02/2011 20:00

commiserations Jolls (is that the right phrase?) your RTD had us all fooled. Sneaky sneaky AF. Thats not fair at all.

The upside is Birthday Drinking. Hope you have big stocks of Oyster Bay in. Grin

Mamapower · 16/02/2011 20:05

Jolls bah to RTD [not amused emotion] sorry your body teased you Sad But you have clearly identified the silver lining... where there's AF there's also OB Grin

Evening all Smile Sorry for post and run

clareanna · 16/02/2011 20:14

crappola jolls let the birthday drinking commence!

dachs amazing news- double whoops!!

notsobarrenmorebrokenbrook · 16/02/2011 20:26

Oh double shit and balls jolls. Not fair. Enjoy your OB in abundance you deserve it. I'm convinced we will be diffed together, March it is then! Biscuit

doubledachs fecking hell! More twinnage, congrats x

Is it wrong that I have such strong feelings of pre menstrual rage that I want to punch the man sitting next to me in the head for eating his apple too loudly? (who am I trying to kid? Pre menstrual? I'm like this all the time!) he's slapping his mouth like a friggin cow chewing the cud for Christs sakes! Angry Blush

Velvetcu · 16/02/2011 20:27

youremindmeofthefucker · 16/02/2011 20:32

BB just hit him! Go on. I dare you.

batteryhen · 16/02/2011 20:37

Hello lovely ladies.

dasch double whammy - what lovely news :) :)

jolls crappy news with AF - I hope you are having several a nice glass of OB by now.

barren I sometimes think I need anger management as I frequently want to punch random people annoying apple eating men Grin

Hello to everyone else - big waves.

Not much happening here, I have my gynae appointment tomorrow so I am looking forward to that. Just thinking of some questions to ask. mummya might be able to throw light on this - my last scan showed a lining of only 2.89mm but I was on AF at the time and the lady didn't seem worried. Should I be worried ??!!xx

Nothing else to report so shall slink off xx

SameOldJollster · 16/02/2011 20:55

Cheers lovely ones, you've cheered me up

velvet hope you're wrong. Chook know nothing of thicknesses, bet MummyA knows though .

Off to bed to read speech therapy book for work with my gorgeous DS.

Thanks peeps for your support x

AandRMum · 16/02/2011 21:02

Dachs am so chuffed that both hearts are pumping away madly - you are going to be busy!!!

Oh jolls that just sucks! Horribly afraid it will go the same way over here.

Velvet hang in there - I want us poasing on Friday - but I have a horrible feeling there will be lonely peesticks in my drawer going moldy!! I have every symptom under the sun but I too have been intensely unreasonably angry and that is always a sure fire af sign - bah humbug - save me some OB Jolls
