The resurrection of the 6th form common room for those inbetweeners who are TTC/PG after mc and are too long in the tooth to fit anywhere else

The resurrection of the 6th form common room, a place to put your feet up, wallow in self pity (me) or rejoice (and tremble in fright) at new growing beans and baybees after mc. No lists. No stats. No babydust. No feeling bad if you can't keep up.

Go.

mummya try to keep going a bit longer, don't do every day if it's too much. We usually start too early and exhaustion sets in before the crucial time - I think this month on SMEP has been one of the better bizarrely. It's good to hear that there are some positive stories in terms of the lining thickness - and it's nowhere near the 3mm you were faced with before. I know that doesn't make it easy, but try to take heart and remember the positives. I think a future pg will be scary and stressful for everyone on here, but obviously more so if youve got a specific worry to contend with - maybe you'd just have to embrace the worry and accept that you're allowed to stress if that makes sense? Will keep my fx for you to hear some good news tomorrow x

I'm not sure who InnocentRedhead is - maybe she'll introduce herself soon? Do you think maybe it's not obvious that the stats are linked to this thread?

wiggle sorry she's here, like mummya says, the odds are on your side now though!

No news here, I think I'm about 5dpo but not temping anymore which is actually quite liberating! Not holding out much hope, but at least I feel like we did everything we could this month, so we'll just have to wait and see. Que sera sera and all that...

Just had a lovely Sunday lunch here so will pass round Brew to all -

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 13/02/2011 15:00

Btw jolls - any news? I know you said you thought AF was on her way but I'm hoping you were wrong x

youremindmeofthebabe · 13/02/2011 15:08

Hey all, How's it going?

Had a nice weekend, including muddy running, tea with friends, uni lectures, Big shop, and much much more! And of course the obligatory SWI. Consequently I am now knackered. Much like mummya Watching Star Wars with ds, he's an obssessive.

That's good to hear from others, hey mummya? Even if you're not at the stage you would like, it's cheering to hear others with their success stories. I'm shagged out too, although it has been quite an enjoyable monthGrin

velvet how's the boobs today?

nix hope you're well, and had a very relaxing weekend after the trauma of Thursday.

jolls sorry to hear that. But it aint all over yet. Doing anything nice for yor bday? It's mine 2 days after yours and mummya's -25th.

dachs Hurrah for scans-I saw the update, is it just a waiting game now for pup2?

Velvetcu · 13/02/2011 15:59

Thanks mummya for sticking me on the list :) fx your lining being enough to keep a bean happy for a whole 9 months. Its great that you have other people to talk to about it and that they have positive stories for you.

loola i looked at your chart too and it must have changed its mind from what you thought.

Grin so everyone who is all shagged out, I'm finding it very amusing for some reason!

I am refraining from any comments on possible symptoms here. Have got a whole week to get through! I usually start spotting on cd24/25 and have had nothing today so thats good. I'm gonna feel like a right dick when AF arrives arent I Blush

AandRMum · 14/02/2011 09:48

Just took a peek at the stats - so you are still in the game jollster! I have all symptoms of af turning up now so I gather I just have an overactive imagination and will just have to wait until Friday to see what happens ...

MummyA glad there was some good examples on your AS support site - hopefully it is in the LP category - nice to have a 14 day LP but not essential. Concentrate on shagging and 2ww mentalling

youremindmeofthebabe · 14/02/2011 09:57

Hey, I just saw that too, jolls. Exciting!

velvetGrin exciting over there too.
And I've still got fx for you too Aandr- it's not over yet.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 14/02/2011 10:04

Looks like we have a few people in with a chance this week keeping fx for you all - surely the law of averages or something must mean there must be at least one bfp there?

SameOldJollster · 14/02/2011 10:18

May have POAS this morning HmmBlush, as spotting stopped yesterday. It was a virginally white BFN however. But have just looked at when I got BFPs before and it wouldn't be til Friday or Saturday if it follows the same pattern IYSWIM.

So not out... yet. And no more spotting this morning, which is unusual as when pre-period spotting starts it just usually carries on. So... who knows??

Happy Valentine's Day my lovelies xx

clareanna · 14/02/2011 10:22

Fx for you jolls

Mamapower · 14/02/2011 10:29

Happy Valentines mwah Grin

digitalgirl · 14/02/2011 10:56

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 14/02/2011 11:26

batteryhen · 14/02/2011 15:09

am posting from work fingers crossed for jolls :) - nothing going on here - am 6dpo and lots of cramping but that could be bowel too Blush

DP has heard he should be coming back from germany permanantly in June - hooray - all we need now is BFP next week and that will be a good week of news. xx

Must go - will be fired. xx

mummyabroad · 14/02/2011 15:40

phew, got some cross hairs, hopefully shagging is done for the next 9 month. Oh bollocks, its Valentines Day though Cant believe bonking has become such a chore. Confused Anyone who wants to chart stalk , do you think FF is to be trusted and I can have a rest now?

I'm getting excited for everyone too, especially top of the list Jolls, I so hope its a birthday BFP for you.

Hi battery thats great news! hopefully he'll be back just in time to enjoy that second trimester Grin

YRMOTB fellow piscean! The poisons must be on our sideGrin

Izz didnt the poisson say we are all going to get diffed by March? Oh no, that was me! WinkWell, looks like the plan is coming into fruition anyway... Grin

youremindmeofthebabe · 14/02/2011 15:41

Quick Q for those in the know. Just used my ov sticks and have just got as close as i've ever got to a positive beforeConfused it's still not positive, but I have drank loads today, and also been to the toilet a fair few times. Should I pretend it's a positive, or try and catch it later? WWYD? BBT still low this morning. Even though I'm on day 21 and have been shagging for England. Go figureHmm

SameOldJollster · 14/02/2011 15:51

aww thanks y'all. You're all so LOVVVERLY!

Suspect it's Mother Nature playing one of her hilarious jokes, but have (so far) had another day of no spotting, even when I've had a vigorous wipe IYKWIM!

great news chook! YRMOTB have no idea I'm afraid, know bugger all about OPKs and the like.

And MummyA tvm for the clovers; my Cork family say go raibh maith agat...

youremindmeofthebabe · 14/02/2011 15:55

Xposts mummya Have a rest I say! That looks pretty definite to my only slightly trained eye.

mummyabroad · 14/02/2011 15:56

YRMOTB dont wee for 2 hours and test again. I have been testing twice a day, watched lines get darker over a couple of days, but then the darkest one was just about as dark as the control line and I interpreted that as positive. Temps trump ov sticks everytime, and if they are still low then I'd say you are pre-ov/oving. If you cant manage that much more shagging, can you do every other day?

If you have ever been tested for PCOS or have reason to suspect you have it, throw the ov sticks away as you can get repeat high LH surges throughout the month that are no ov related.

gotta run now, I have a counselling session. xxx

notsobarrenmorebrokenbrook · 14/02/2011 16:14

Oh my God! EVERYONE is here now, lush! spesh urd who has been hiding, welcome back Smile I have oodles of reading to do to catch up with you all.

jollipopsicles Oh. My. God. I am bursting with excitement (and it's not from eating 16 tonnes of cheese last week) I will try and keep it contained.

Skiing was fabulous, sunshine and blue skies all week and plenty of snow, vin chaud, hot chocolate with rum, cheese, bread and vino What more could a girl want!

stats? shall I add my old self?

BB my darling - lovely to see you back. You did get your holiday card approved didn't you...? Hope you're rested and rejuvenated x

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 14/02/2011 16:34

Definite ov there mummya as opposed to my crap chart - clearly even ff isn't convinced!! Please note my restraint in packing away the thermometer as soon as I got my crosshairs (3 days ago - I'm very proud!).

I don't suppose it's going to mess up aandr's SMEP experiment too much if we all throw in an extra shag for valentines day is it? Grin

yrmotb I would guess it's probably +ve (mine are never particularly convincing!) but would hold of drinking and try again in a couple of hours just to be sure.

good to see you back - hope you had a fab holiday!!

notsobarrenmorebrokenbrook · 14/02/2011 16:54

Um, question. What the feck is SMEP?

gahhhh wrong bracket thingys, but stillConfused

OP posts:
IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 14/02/2011 17:31

Oops - sorry - SMEP is the sperm meets egg plan. I can't remember the link but I'm sure someone will oblige soon...anyway the idea is you shag every other day from cd8, then when you get a +opk, swi every day for three days, then miss a day, then one last attempt. Apparently the plan claims to have a 40% success rate after mc Hmm So some of us were testing that claim - it started on the mother thread so I think that's where all the linkage etc was.

Aha! Found the link

Personally I'm not convinced but none of my other approaches seem to be working so I'm willing to give it a shot Grin

notsobarrenmorebrokenbrook · 14/02/2011 17:36

Ahhhhh, now it all makes perfect sense! Cheers Iz Smile
