Awaiting AMH results... any advice?

Hi

I am getting my blood test - AMH results later this week and was wondering if anyone had anything to tell me about them? Had anyone had any low readings and successfully conceived?

Any info would be great

AMH test is fairly worthless, it is supposed to give an idea of the number of eggs a woman has left but does not give any answer to the quality of those eggs.

So a woman with the good high number with lots of eggs could have all poor quality ones that will not result in a pregnancy, and thus mislead to believe all is well when it is not,

likewise, a woman with a poor low number might have few eggs left but have a good golden egg that produces a baby. Women with low AMH numbers can and do concieve. There is a website by a woman who had a very low amh number and did go on to have a baby, and the website has grown to have many womens stories on it. I can't remember the name of the website at the moment, but if you google you might find it. (if when I get home later I find the link I will post it here for you)

I will be getting my amh results next week (was supposed to get it last month but I had to cancel the appointment) but I am determined not to take any notice of the number no matter what it says!!!!

hi thanks for that info, I will take that on board! I am only on 7 months TTC and am considering looking elsewhere for some investigative work as dont want to delay if there are any problems!
