No period AND 2 negative Pregnancy tests.......

I was due on yesterday (1st jan) but i havent come on yet so i took a pregnancy test last night and it came back negative, took another one this afternoon and that was negative, im going to test tomorrow morning with my first morning wee. My periods are regular, every 28 days. I had a miscarriage back in august so im kinda preparing myself for the worst that it could be an eptopic pregnancy.
Im just confused and a little worried about it!

I know its easy to say, but try not to panic, i also suffered with an ectopic pregnancy 5 years ago. My test didnt show positive for a while either. Although, this doesnt mean yours is an ectopic! Keep doing your tests and try and stay calm. Update us too and ive got my fingers crossed for you! x

When they say you can test the day of your missed period, they are assuming a standard 28 day cycle, on which you ov on day 14, and therefore that on the day of your missed period you are 14 days post-of. SOME people can get a positive as early as 10 days post-ov - this is why First Response says it can be positive up to four days early.

To get a positive I think you need at least 10 days post-ov for there to be enough HcG (preg hormone), and ideally 14 days post-ov.

So if you actually have a shorter post-ov phase eg you ov on day 18 rather than 14, today is quite possibly still too early to detect pregnancy hormones.

You could still be too early for even the most sensitive tests. You need to wait another four or five days, then either AF will have come, or you might get a BFP!

ohh right ok, i think i get you lol! Its just weird because my periods are never late their always a day or 2 early or on the day.
