Two weeks late & confused!!

Hello all,

I'm totally new to this and just wondering if anyone can offer some advice as I'm going crazy!

I'm two weeks late for AF & was convinced I was pregnant as normally 28 day cycle without fail.

I had slight bleed around day 16 of my cycle, light pinkish blood for day, then brown discharge for next 2 days. At the time I thought it was odd but didn't suspect I was pg. Was this implantation bleed??

AF was due around 17th Dec & started getting cramps around that time, kept expecting AF but never came. Since then have had strange feelings in stomach but suffer from IBS so put down to eating wrong food at xmas at first.

Also have had headaches, felt tired all the time and feel hot all the time. Bbs have got bigger & firmer and slight milky discharge when squeezed (sorry tmi!)

Finally took First Response this am. One pink line appeared almost straight away, then nothing. So looks like BFN.

Have not been pg before so don't know what feels like but just feel different somehow. I'm 36 & wasn't TTC but would be Grin if were pg. Pls can anyone advice whether should see GP or is it too early? Thanks

I would se your GP as it dos seem to fit nicely into the pregnancy cycle, but don't know why you are getting BFN.

I am slightly in similar position as I am 3 days late (so not as much as 2 weks like you!) but got a BFN. I am 37.

Your GP could perhaps request a more accurate test.

Fingers crossed.... Grin

hiya blossom i did a test one week late and it was neg, then 1 week later it was pos. something to do with the pg hormones not being strong enough for the tests to detect them? depends on when you ovulated as to how pg you are (sorry just stated the obvious)

i would either wiat a week and test again, or see gp for blood test?
