very very faint line!

I've have been feeling quite nauseous and had the odd fainting spell recently but put it down to the horrid cold I've got.
Today the nausea was much worse so I did a test and a very very faint pink line appeared. I am probably pregnant but I'am amazed that I am feeling so sick this early.
Last time it didn't start till I was 7/8 weeks. Is this normal and has anyone ever had a faint line but wasn't actually pregnant?

Was the line within the time limit? I got one after the limit, then negatives since. Apart from that, I think that if in the time limit you dont get false positives. Sorry I can't help further, but my fingers are crossed for you, and I'm sure someone with more experience will be along soon with better advice :)

Thank you. Yes I think so. At least it was within 10mins but might have been more than 3. Brushed my teeth while I was waiting. Silly, but I wasn't expecting anything so I didn't really pay attention to times.

Unfortunately I'm out of tests and the car is snowed in so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to check again.
