TTC with PMS - feel like I'm going insane!

Wondered if anyone out there is TTC but struggling with PMS like me? Came off cerazette last Chrimbo expecting to conceive quickly cos that's what happened to most of my family. 12 months on my PMS has reached epic levels - brain not working, crazy mood swings, tearful and sooooooore boobs.
GP not much help as options seem to boil down to going back on pill (kind of negates the point), trying antidepressants (but not sure about harm they might cause). Has suggested taking magnesium for fornight til ovulation - have bought it and am taking calcium and vitamin D which is helping with breast tenderness (although still refusing to let OH touch me for week before AF arrives).
Anyone else had same problem? Any suggestions on how to stablise mood for PMS?
(Am new hence lack of TLAs!)

Hi Bexamundo, I take vit b 6 and it's really helped me curb the worst of the mental PMS symptoms. I have also just started using progesterone cream in the second half of my cycle and it's helped enormously with the physical symptoms. Good luck and I hope you get your Big Fat Positive pg test result soon! (I have been TTCing for at least a century now so sympathise with the "it was meant to have happened by now!" feeling) Xmas Grin

thanks ladies! tried the B6 and had the most bizarre feeling of my mouth being bigger (logic said it wasn't but it felt sooooo weird). Also yawned a ridiculous amount. May have to weigh up wether that is better than emotionally falling to pieces...

I have tried taking magnesium on the advice of my GP with very positive effects! This time last month I was having a panic attack, this month I feel fine (secretly hoping AF is not on her way and the lack of PMS is cos I'm already pg....)
