faint line again grrrr!!

hey all, im probably like you all reading this, i have spent the last 2 days trawling the internet trying to find an answer to the most asked question. am i pregnant??

im 28 and have 2 children already, im due for my AF on saturday but i feel pregnant (we have been trying) sore boobs milk spots appearing that sort of thing, we had sex during ovulation and all that stuff and im now addicted to peeing on a stick, but this is why i am writing this

i bought some 10 miu test from a well known shop on ebay that claim to be able to tell you if you are or not from really early on, i took the test...well alot of them cause like i said im addicted lol only to find the line so faint i wondered if i was seeing things,the line got darker after about half an hour but i heard it could be a evap line but the line showed up within the first 5 mins of testing so im confused as hell!

has anyone else had these tests or stories about them cause im hearing mixed reviews hence why i thought it would be good to ask myself x

I had a crap really faint line on the ebay cheapies (10 miu) at 12 DPO - tested the next day with a superdrug one of the same strength and got a far more impressive line so I suspect the eBay ones work, but may not give you the clear answer that you want to see. If you can bear to, probably best to leave it a day or two then try with a 'proper' test (the superdrug ones are fairly cheap). The lines do seem to get darker when they dry out but as you said, it's the first 5/10 minutes that count depending on the test you have :) good luck!

hi there i too had a faint line. the test that i used said that a "lines a line". i did some research and found that a faint line meant low hormone levels. i retested the following 2 days with no improvement of the line and im really sorry to say that i miscarried the next day :( . im sorry to be blunt but i guess you wouldnt have posted if you didnt want true experiences.

this hopefully will not be your experience, i do wonder about these ultra early tests as when i did get pregnant i still didnt get a positive test with the 10 min until 2 days after af was due so hopefully its just a bit early :)

you can get a false negative but not a false positive so if there was a line then your preg

thanks all i think im going to go get a first response tomorrow and check with that one to see if its any better cause im driving myself crazy here lol

i have had 3 miscarriages in the past and the latest happened 2 month ago i had faint positive but bled 3 days later but my pregnancy syptoms are alot stronger this time around so weather its really bad pmt or indeed pregnancy only time will tell (time is a bitch and i want to hunt her down lol)

so like everyone its a waiting game this will be my OH first child, so i want to be absolutly sure i am before i give him his early xmas present lol xx

if you tested early then i guess the hcg levels are still fairly low so keep everything crossed xx
