This is our 5th month TTC. AF due yesterday and right on time I started spotting. Usually I have a day of light spotting then full on bleed for 4 days. Today AF is very light. I'm sure I'l kidding myself that it's anything more than just a light AF and I don't want to test but this is my first abnormal AF ever! Should I test?
I am also having an ultrasound tomorrow to look into fertility issues. Can this go ahead either way?

Hi, Light AF might well just be that, but if you are not convinced then you should test to put your mind at rest.

As for ultrasound (I am a bit confused as to why you would be getting one if you have only been trying for 5 months, but that is just my curiosity!) it won't matter if you are or are not pregnant. In fact if you are pregnant they should see a thickened uterus (they would not see a pregnancy either way). Hope it all goes ok for you.
