Advice on CBFM wanted

Have been TTC#2 since August but with no luck even tho am becoming quite familiar with my bodily fluids..

Have just ordered a Clearblue Fertility Monitor but have just one question. Do you have to start using it on the first day of your period or can you start any time?

Sorry if I've missed something really obvious but I cant find this info anywhere on the net!

but I think you have to wait til start of your next cycle so that it can get your baseline levels right.
