Getting pregnant after a LLETZ

Hi
I had a LLETZ procedure nearly 4 weeks ago due to CIN 2 abnormal cells.
Previous to that I was having trouble conceiving as, after coming off the pill last December, my periods were very irregular and I was often not ovulating throughout my cycle.
Anyway!! I am ovulating now and am wondering, does anyone know if I should be waiting longer to try and conceive or is it safe to do so now? I really don't want to wait as I don't know when I will next ovuluate but obviously I want to have a safe pregnancy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Sounds like you would be better to go with advice of your doctor on this one, not sure people on here would be able to be confident of giving you safe and correct advice.
Ask your gp and good luck ttc!

I got pregnant a few weeks after Lletz. DS is now nearly 4.

I can't remember exactly what the guidelines were for how long you had to wait before having sex. I remember doing lots of internet searches about it and it seemed to differ according to which country the advice came from. In America you didn't have to wait very long, but in the UK you did.

Good luck with ttc.
