Horrible diarroeha(sp) whilst on period

ok, so ive mis-spelt it but ive not slept due to my horrendous stomach ache all night. I normally have an iffy tummy while on my period but this is ridiculous, i actually feel dehydrated because of it. my period was a week late and is very heavy, painful and dark (dont want to think about it not being a period iykwim) does anyone else get this? should i be worried?

I often get an upset tummy right at the start of my period, I think it just upsets my whole system. Double over with cramps then off I go for a while but feel much, much better afterwards and then its gone. I feel your pain! Hope it goes off soon but drink lots and lots of water and keep eating.

It's to do with the progesterone in your system. Stay hydrated, cuddle a hot water bottle, snack on painkillers and avoid alcohol and caffeine. Believe me, you have my sympathy! :( And don't believe that crap they tell you about exercise helping...

I often get this, it's horrible but I think it's quite normal, hope you feel better soon

lissie, you know better than anyone what a funny period can be. This one's late isn't it (and I'm so sorry)? And dark and you're in pain?

Oh lovey I'm sorry but you know better than I that it's better to be safe than sorry. You've started a thread about it. I suspect you're worried, yes?
