OPK question...

OK so I know an OPK will detect a hormone surge preceding ovulation (I think?)...

I got a positive result on an OPK this morning but DH and I had sex last night so is it likely I could get pregnant?

Obviously will be trying some more but just wondered if anyone knew how likely it was.

I'm sure some knowledgeable soul will come along and tell me how ignorant I am being...

Answer is yes, you are right that opk detect the surge wich occurs 12-36 hrs before realease of egg.
Sperm can survive up to 7 days apparently so it will be ready and waiting

Def do it for next few days thought just to be sure lol
