I'm Obsessed...please tell me i'm not crazy

Hi all,
I'm new here. Not yet a Mum but have recently decided that i can't wait to be one. I'm constantly reading stuff on here, have baby books and stuff on my Amazon wishlist, can't stop looking at baby stuff and more importantly baby pictures of my friends children on Facebook. i do this every day. Think about it every day. Run scenarios through my head every day and have my girls name sorted...although not the boys name...i can't even start to try and get pregnant until September next year and i think i'm being a little over the top but can't help myself. My other half hasn't even given me a straight yes to us having a child yet...he needs to think about it...i'm 27, he's 29 and we've been together for over 6 years. I've always been against having children...until now...although i've always been more against it than him...anyway...since i'm here the boys names i have narrowed down are either Bradley or Harvey...could you please possibly let me know what you think? Thanks...x

You aren't crazy at all. I was the same way. I never wanted children, and actually drove away boyfriends over the issue. Then when I turned 26 I met and fell in love with my now husband, and we accidentally got pregnant, but that ended in a miscarriage. Something was woken up inside me. All I wanted from that point on was to have a baby. The only cure was when my daughter was born 16 months ago. Try not to drive yourself crazy, and have faith that motherhood is in your future. I love both your boy names, and when you are pregnant you will know which one suits your little guy...or girl

Oh...I'm training to be a Vet Nurse and want to qualify before getting pregnant as i need to spend time in practice...i just want to make sure i'm qualified and get through my exams first...also i need to take the coil out and get back to normal for a bit...i suffer with endometriosis so have to have the coil in the meantime to aid minimal recurrence...

I am too a woman-obsessed. Literally obsessed! Its quite scary. Having a baby is literally all i think about. My partner and I are planning to start trying maybe at the end of next year, just to give ourselves a last summer holiday together, start saving some moolah etc, but I read everything on here just to get an idea of what i'm going to be letting myself in for...and i genuinely look forward to it all! I feel like i'm meant to be a mum now, and i think of baby names allll the time. I blame hormones! I neeeeeeeed a bubba!!! NOW!!!!

ha ha ha...just like me...i have my names down...i know what i want to buy...i've thought about work after my year maternity leave and everything...let's hope DP will agree to TTC after xmas. good luck to you...let me know when you get going! x
