If it's worth anything to all the pregnant ladies, I don't think I've ever thought anyone pregnant looked huge - just that it was amazing to think there was an actual person in there and how proud they must be! Sorry if that sounds cheesy, but it honestly never occurred to me to think they looked huge in a negative way. I'm sure that when (if!) I get pg I will have similar worries, but just thought I'd my twopennorth!

Yet another person at work is pregnant - there will be no teachers left at this rate! That's what you get for having a staff that is half made up of women in their twenties / early thirties I suppose.... Am very happy for her but did experience a twinge of the green-eyed monster! Am waiting for my just-dispatched basal thermometer to appear, so at least I can feel like I'm doing something to help things every morning!

oh went to aqua natal today was really good exercise and fun to def going to start going every week met a couple of nice ladies there altho doubt ill c one there agen as she was already over due

is anyone else lacking all energy motivation for house work, i did a big clean b4 xmas but since then my house seems to have been turned upside down with all the toys presents etc and i just cant find the energy or enthusiasm to try and fit in around looking after DD all i want to do when she is sleeping is relax on the couch must get my butt in gear soon

on the plus side have a nice spa day booked with my mum tis moring DP has booked day of work to look after DD cant wait!!!

im sure i had something else to tell u all but cant remember now [hmmm]

I totally echo MrsS on the pregnant women NOT looking huge!! I can help but stare at their tummys, and i know that sounds awful, but i'm actually admiring them and their unborns and wishing it was me...i certainly don't think any pregnant woman looks big/fat etc...it's just not that kind of physiology!!

I know i haven't gotten a yes yet...and it will take a while...but i'm planning all sorts in my head...working, house improvements, things to buy for the baby...everything!! More so than my currently pregnant best friend...why won't it stop!!!??? Argh!!!

Anyway, i'm really loving reading about all of you pregnant ladies...and Bebe - i really agree that maybe you could lock him in a room (so to speak) to talk to your OH. It really isn't fair that he can't give you the time of day! Good luck.

I meant that i CAN'T help but stare at the tummys...

DH has flu! He's gone to work but he is really poorly! :( I usually think he is making out he is worse than he is, but he is actually proper ill! He fell asleep on the sofa last night just as I was trying to talk to him, how typical is that?!

Will give it another go later, DD has been going on and on all morning about a baby sister! She's been spending a lot of time with her baby cousin lately, although he is a he!

Oh bebe it seem like the forces are really conspiring against you at the moment :( Hope that your DH feels better this weekend and you get a chance to chat.

I'm keeping everything crossed, he has said that he really wants a chinese tonight (he is massively dosed up on cold & flu & sounding a bit perkier!) and that we can chill out with a bottle of wine & watcha film later, so that might be my 'chance'! Need to sort it soon, coz if he agrees we will need to be SWIing from Monday!

that sounds like a lovely Friday night Bebe. I've got yet another gym session (the training for the Bath Half has suddenly stepped up!!!) then home to tidy and clean the house for DH's return home.

Think I will try and persuade him to get a takeaway too but as he has been working late he will no doubt have been living off readymeals and take aways all week so probably won't feel like it. Damn it!!

No news here except we have LOADS more snow and the decision was made that children could go home at 1pm...
at 1.30 us members of staff who had furtherst to go (and in my class thats me) were allowed to go to.

NONE of the roads have been gritten and I can honestly say i had the scariest journey of my life.... I stuck to a main bis route, bt that was not enough... i was slipping and sliding everywhere... only just made it up a hill slight slope, and every thime i wanted to stop (or just slow slightly) my ABS kicked in.

Then there was the scarey hill down (all the way) with main road at the end. I didnt ever go faster than 16mph, and tried to slow down the WHOLE way down the hill.... at the point where id normally apply my breaks (travelling at normal speed) i was only travelling at 7mph but still only JUST stopped in time

am pleased to be home.

Not been feeling that sick the last couple of days, but definitely feeling much tired-er so going to take this opeprtunity to have na afternoon nap

Hi Ladies, poo pants cam home from work early, sick and dizzy, did the same yesterday and spent nearly 12 hours in bed, I am SO tired! On the settee doing very little at the moment and just thought I would pop in and moan at you. It's OK to feel like this though, means hormones are working hard in me, that has to be good.

DD has decided she doesn't want to wear clothes today, which would be fine if a.She was potty trained & b.it wasn't January & freezing! Managed to persaude her to keep her trousers on, but that is it!! And that was only thanks to bribery & watching the Gruffalo 4 times...in a row!
