Anyone had a bfn 11dpo then gone on to have a bfp a few days after?

Tested today bfn.

We had unprotected sex 11 day ago, was it to early to test?

I'm not sure when af is due as i had the implant out last month.

I don't even know if and when i ovulated.
This is driving me nuts not knowing.

You would think i would know my body by now this being maybe dc4. but with my other 3 i knew when i was ovulating and when af was due.

It's completely possible that it's too early to test. There were some stats on here ages ago which said something like only 30% of BFPs show up by 11DPO. Some BFPs take up to 18-21DPO to show up.

Sperm can live in you for up to 5 days as well, so it's possible that you could be pg and only about 6DPO now.

I would test again in a few days and again in a week or so if I was you. (Actually since I have cheap internet tests at about 20p each I would probably test every day for about the next 2 weeks )

I had a BFN at 9 dpo, again at 11 dpo. Retested at 14 dpo and BFP so definitely possible.

Any clues at all when you might have ovulated? Any EWCM?

I don't have personal experience of this but just wanted to wish you luck! I'm on day 17 and ovulated day 13 or 14...so am in that agonizing window as well!

I had a termination for medical reasons back in August at 13 weeks and it has taken this long to get back to a normal cycle; Im using the clearblue monitor (first cycle on it); i would really recommend it for peace of mind and knowing whats going on if you're uncertain as to what your cycle's doing x

Af has showed up

I am hopefully going start ttc in dec, we are going on holiday in aug, i dont really want to be due when we go.

lollyheart - I had my implant removed on the 27th of October, promptly followed by a withdrawal bleed of 4 days. I have no clue when (or not) ovulation has taken place, but we had unprotected sex on the 27th and 31st of October, and the 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 11th of November... My tummy has felt a bit funny and crampy for the last couple of weeks and I am trying to work out when I could take a pregnancy test as I don't know when af is due??

During the time I have had the implant in (6 years) my cycle has been quite irregular in length with an average of 32 days over the last 6 months. The last one I had started on the 18th of October. How long did you have between your last 'implant' af and the one you have now?
