I don't think I ever got big/sore breasts apart from when I missed a BF with DS. I do remember having ridiculously sensitive nipples though (like they could feel the cold air even through clothing).

I'm off to read my previous AN thread to see what was happening, although last time I didn't even know I was PG until I was 6 weeks but I remember feeling nauseas and having cramping straight away.

spilttheteaagain · 09/12/2010 19:52

Thinking of you mouse, hope it's nothing xx

IfAtFirst too darn right. Put a peg on your nose and leave the cat poo for DH!

Nix I had another chat to the doc when she phoned this afternoon. She'd been speaking to the microbiology labs etc and found that the only antibiotic they would give a pregnant woman for toxoplasmosis is not licensed for the 1st trimester. So pretty much we're winging it with our fingers crossed that this time the odds are on our side. She's referred me to the consultant now early scan, bloods, general consultant led care. Whilst this is nice and I will feel very looked after, it's a pita to have to drive 30 mins and into the city centre for appointments instead of walking 5 mins to the GPs.

Seeing community MW on 21st for initial appointment with her too. Same one as last time which is nice because I liked her.

Girls I'm a bit shy of the August AN thread - thousands of strangers again! I like it here Smile

Know what you mean spilt big and fast moving threads are often like that, nice to see some others in the same boat though huh? Cripes so you have to wait a whole 10 weeks ish goodness x sounds like clutching at straws but is there anything alternative medicine kind of thing that you could look at? Prob not for that kind of infection maybe. How do you feel about that lovely?

terrys my norks are normally like fried eggs so i am looooving pregnancy boobs Xmas Grin didnt get big until a day or two ago, starting to get sore now. Xmas Grin re the sports bra! mousebacon · 09/12/2010 20:55

Just had more. A big gloop this time. Doesn't look good. Am trying not to freak out and I know I'd be saying 'implantation' if it was any of you. It really couldn't be described as blood, definately brown fluid more than anything. Was going to tell DH tonight over dinner but will wait and see now.

Will be 6 weeks on Monday so if there's no more blood I'll try and get a scan booked in. I'd been home at lunchtime and took another test which is still v dark so am hoping all is not lost. Will take temp in the morn and maybe that'll give me a clue.

How quick would I get blood results back? I think being in denial about this has definately helped. Still have slightly sore boobs but haven't really had any symptoms to lose tbh.

Thanks for all your messages. xx

spilttheteaagain · 09/12/2010 20:58

Hmm a bit nervous Nix but also a certain amount of "what will be will be". By all accounts we should be ok really. I probably caught it 3 months ago, and the chances of transmitting it to the baby if you actually catch it in the 1st tri are only 15%, my odds will be much less because of it happening a little while ago, I'm just probably not immune yet. There's a 25% chance this conception will come to nothing anyway, and that's just normal stats, nothing to do with the infection. Early days indeed. But I am being scrupulously hygenic.

GetDownYouWillFall · 09/12/2010 20:59

Oh mouse Sad All I would say is if your pregnancy test still looked dark then that is a good sign.

When I had my MC I did a test and the line had got fainter than it did when I first got the BFP. Also from what I've heard red blood is concerning, brown blood less so.

Hope it all is ok. xxx

spilttheteaagain · 09/12/2010 21:02

((hugs)) mouse what a horrible horrible waiting and worrying game.

I think they test the HCG twice 72 hours apart don't they? No idea how long it would take to come back.

Fingers crossed for you xx

mousebacon · 09/12/2010 21:06

Thanks. Just going to have a nice, festive weekend; christmas cake, tree, decorate house etc and put this out of my mind. Will try and convince myself it's just a normal period.

If it is a mc will I definately need to see someone medical? Am worried they might not even believe I'm pg again! x

spilttheteaagain · 09/12/2010 21:11

mouse if it is a MC and you start bleeding and can manage the pain and the level of bleeding then I don't see why you would need to see anyone. If you do bleed you would need to check with pg tests until they go negative and if they don't then you do need help.

Hope that doesn't happen my lovely

mousebacon · 09/12/2010 21:18

Thanks love x

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 09/12/2010 21:39

mouse i would say its safer (if it did happen, which its not going to!!) to see someone ie epu to make sure there is no debris left, plus also if its documented then it counts if you need it to for recurrent testing etc.

BUT its not going to come to that, see what tomorrow brings lovely xxxxx

TerrysNo2 · 09/12/2010 21:39

mouse I am thinking of you.

I just got 5 days free as someone signed up for FF from looking at my chart! I wonder who it could be?!?

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 09/12/2010 21:40

Glad you dont feel too nervous spilt thatsgood x

LadybeenKissingSantaClaus · 09/12/2010 21:41

hello! you ladies obviously need topping up with non-preggos, so I thought I'd bring along my chart and join in here if that's ok?

Several names here I recognise

Erm, so introduction - I'm 37, have a DS (2.8) and have been TTC no.2 since October last year. In that time I've had two miscarriages, one in April, a blighted ovum discovered at a private 8 week scan, then another in August at about 8-9 weeks. Got tested for recurrent MC factors and have Leiden Factor V, and already have PCOS which is quite well controlled with metformin.

Anyway - just had another unsuccessful cycle go by so my chart is nothing to look at but I've been temping for a few cycles so my pattern is shown on the overlay (including my 2nd pg in the green line). I seem to have quite big dips in my LP and I'm interested to see whether any of you ladies think this is usual or whether I should be addressing it any way?

my chart

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 09/12/2010 21:47

Hey bee come to the right place, this is full of bfps in the last fortnight, its clearly the lucky thread!!

how are you toots?

TerrysNo2 · 09/12/2010 21:58

Hello Ladybeen welcome! Smile

Quick question ladies - I am meant to be flying to Germany on Wednesday for work. Is it ok for me to fly?? Confused

LadyGoneGaga · 09/12/2010 22:10

Mouse it does sound very like the bleeding I had with MiniG. Hopefully it stays spotting/stops. Def try and get to EPU though hon, so you know what you're dealing with. Hugs.

Hi LadyBee, welcome to the thread! I'd say your Luteal phase looks a reasonable length. Wouldn't worry too much about the dips. Seems like implantation/luteal phase defect not the issue for you? Good to have you here anyway.

Terrys everyone (including you?) told me off for carrying on temping after my BFP if I remember correctly. Took me a few days to get out of the habit though! You are fine to fly for a long time yet. Especially as is a relatively short flight. My work tried to make me fly to Russia at 28 weeks pregnant last time. Luckily by the time my visa came through I was too pregnant to fly - yay!

TerrysNo2 · 09/12/2010 22:15

But you didn't listen for a while did you LadyG Wink

spilttheteaagain · 10/12/2010 07:07

Hurrah, today's line is not a figment of my imagination. It is there. A pale pink one.

terrys I haven't given up the temping either!

Right, better get to work. Catch up later Smile

Ladybeen welcome and hopefully we'll all get bfps soon!

Mouse how's it going? Keeping everytihng crossed for you.

Btw, Digi is on my post natal thread for DD and she's OK but steering clear of the TTC threads at the moment, until she can TTC again.

Terrys - temps still high I see Grin

spilt how you feeling?

LadyGG all ok?

I am cd 18. chart here

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 10/12/2010 10:42

Morning mrsA and YEY for spilt!

GetDownYouWillFall · 10/12/2010 10:43

Do you think you've ov'd now MrsA?

Here's my pretty darn boring chart

Just waiting waiting waiting

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 10/12/2010 11:13

I'm not sure whether I've ov or not getdown. I had a drink last night (one vodka mixed with a bottle of crabbies alcoholic ginger beer and i feel hungover, what a lightweight!), so not sure if today's temp is accurate.

I've had weekly acupuncture all this cycle, so perhaps it's helped my cycle but I doubt it would affect it this much. Having said that, I had EWCM yesterday and ov pain and today, all i had was a bit of pre seed coming out and no EWCM and no ov pain.
Hmm not sure - I have had 2 -ve opk but the first one i did (Wed) had a faint line but nothing on the next day, so perhaps I've ov super early (for me) and I missed the opk.

Either way, I'm (trying) not to stress and DP and i are swi every other night till the end of next week, to be sure. We decided every night was too much for us, with my ov dates being do varied and late. It was getting to be a real chore.

LadyGoneGaga · 10/12/2010 11:30

Hope Mouse is doing 0k?

I'm fine thanks MrsA. Still no bleeding, still got my symptoms. Going to be anxious til the scan I think. And then anxious again until the 12 week scan. Prob until I start feeling movements and then you feel reassured. See what your temp does tomorrow. Irregular cycles suck (as a veteran of the blighters!).

You sound more positive today, Spilt Grin

hippychick66 · 10/12/2010 13:14

OMG Shock Shock Shock - I just popped on to this thread to see how some of me old muckers were doing and there are loads of preggers ladies.

I know it's very early days for most of you and some of you are having spotting etc. So i'll just say a very quiet congrats to you all and make sure I keep an eye on this thread.

Charting is defo the way to get preggers. I might even give it a go again next month.

Bear love to all and fingers crossed for sticky beans.
