Implantation bleeding or not?

I'm a 31 year old woman and me and my husband really want children. I have been diagnosed with cystic ovaries and have had irregular periods for a very long time in my life. But now I'm taking some medicines to regularize my periods and also leading an active life by going out for jogging as often as possible to keep my weight in control.

I do have regular periods these days but I have not been able to correctly find out when I've been ovulating. I've used ovulation kits twice and both times I was not able to find out when I ovulated. I had my AF on the 12th of October and had intercourse on 23rd which is day 12 of my cycle. Then around 30th which is around day 19 of my cycle, I noticed some spotting which lasted for about 2.5 days. It was brown at times and slightly red other times mixed with clear CM. Could it be implantation bleeding. My cycle is usually around 28 - 30 days and my AF is due on the 8th. I am quite curious to know if what I experienced is implantation bleeding or am I just getting too excited? Also, owing to our busy mechanical lifestyle, we had intercourse just on the day 12. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Implantation bleeding or my body just fooling me?

Could be implantation bleeding or maybe not. Its really hard with cycles that change to know when you are fertile. When TTC DC2 I also used ovulation kits which never gave me a positive result until I was pregnant - they pick up HCG too. Have you tried plotting your temp and CM changes? I think these are supposed to be a more reliable indication of ovulation. As for having intercourse on day 12 this could still result in pregnancy as sperm can survive for upto 5 days I think and so would give you a couple of days after day 12 at least if you ovulated after this. Spotting on day 19 could be implantation bleeding as this is often about a week after fertilisation. If you are desperate to know you could always try an early test but try and wait until your AF is late if you can, my clear blue test although correct for a positive gave a crazy conception indicator, they are not very accurate. Good luck.x
