ovulation tests question

I have tried ovulation tests this month. I followed the instruction starting on Sunday and had faint line on Sunday and Monday. Todays lines were about equal so have summoned OH home to DTD. But done a test tonight and have no line at all. Have I missed my chance? Have I ovulated at all?
OH works away all week so has travelled back 3 hrs to DTD. he can;t come back again tomorrow. Have we missed our chance for the month. I'm worried that I haven;t ovulated at all

Hi hun no dont worry you have not missed the chance, opk detect the LH Surge which happens 12-36 before actual ovulation.

Thats normal to maybe only see the line for a short period of time.

Definately DTD sperm can survive up to 5 days so it will be ready and waiting for when the egg is released

Thanks for the reply. i knew it predicted 12 - 36 hrs before but expected the hormone to stay high until ovulation but guess that may not be the case. Don't seem to have EWCM though either but not sure I ever do!

Hi no i generally get a positive just for 1 day, its not always something you notice and this is way tmi but have you had a good old feel for it iyswim lol

I always get sore boobs for the couple of days before and after.

Thanks. So If I find the ovulation predictor show day 15 as having LH surge. i know that means I should be ovulating in 12-36 hrs. So should I DTD on day 15, 16 or 17? I know ideally it could be all three! But I'm not in an ideal situation!

Definately dtd on day 15 and idealy 17 and prbably 13 if possible lol
