Morning all
Another luker here, been keeping up to date but no time to do nice long post, work is getting busy again and my new gym routine doesn't allow for evening posts. It's hard to fit it all in!
Anyhoo, I'm having a cuppa at my desk so thought I'd use the time to post.
QA so its dust down the come hither look time again
. Here's a dumper truck full of babydust heading your way, try not to sneeze now
LBM - why does your DH not like lanterns? did he have a bad experience in chinatown one night
? your campervan holiday in OZ sounds fantastic, I take my hat off to you for doing it with 3 children and one under one!! Babybelle sounds like she just goes with the flow which is no bad thing. Being the youngest of three I can relate
4ever - had a
at Summer having 'mad professor hair' like your DDad. I love her spikey hair, its lush. My spending is on hold this month as I used my Christmas money to by a side table for the new room. It was half price in the Laura Ashley sale! Their sales are brilliant. Have already sneaked a peek at Mini Boden though and have ear marked a good few things for the boys.
cupcake - glad Jude is enjoying his finger food
. I remember when B started having pasta and it dissapeared off his tray, I assumed it was underneath and all squidged up, took him out not one piece anywhere, all in his tumm, clever boy
. He wolfed roast chicken and gravy last night, chopped small and picked up by those pudgy hands of his.
louey - been thinking about you and hoping you get to the bottom of what's wrong with your MIL. If its any comfort my MIL took ill on 1st Dec. She had the boys that day and by evening could not remember anything. Had to have brain scan etc. as we first feared stroke (she's only 63)but it turned out to be v. low blood sugars and she is on strict instructions to eat better (my FIL works in Aberdeen during the week so she tends to live on sarnies). Gave us all a big fright, poor DH was distraught as he couldnt get to her as it was the week of heavy snow. We phoned her neighbours and they kindly sat with her until the ambulance came.. Does your sister find out this week??
Vjay - did the doc give you any tips and advice on managing Ajay's nut reaction? My heart still feels in my mouth for you thinking about it. Read two chapters of Half-blood prince last night - I'm on a roll
barbie - the vid clip of Dolly was just lovely
. i'm really worried about you though. My friend at work was diagnosed with Crohns two years ago. It is like most things you can have it mild or very severe, praying you are on the mild side of the spectrum if it is indeed Crohns.. hope you've got some rest now your Dh is back x
Iggy - I know we 'spoke' on your other thread so 'Hi' again and good luck with the solids and sleep x
curly - hope you are all on the mend! Is your water back on?? How's the pre-work organising going? Who will be looking after curlygirl?
monkey - I think going out for a meal is a lovely way to celebrate your Mum. It is her birthday, will always be and as 4ever says, should be remembered thus. Will be thinking about you this week and already sending you a huge hug for Wednesday. your wee stories of you and DS always make me
. He is a lucky boy having you! any more thoughts on holdiays? Agree with barbie Cyprus is lovely but can be v. hot. what about the Baleric islands? Ibiza gets a great rep. no seriously it does if you stay away from obvious places..
I'm already in count down mode to Majorca (24 weeks on Friday). Its given DH and me a good kick up the arse to get fit, get some new clothes and for me to colour co-ordinate the boys to within an inch of their lives
. I'm already thinking pastel pink polo shirts for dinners out. Just hope 'bum shuffler extraordinaire' Ben is walking by then as he is a tonne weight to carry these days.
Right, tea finished, back to work.
bigs waves to neeko, MLS, Sabs, Buddha, Moon, BQ and anyone else I've missed.
mermaid we miss you
